It's that time again....... ⚡ Friday Flashback⚡ It's been a jam-packed week for the LTL team! 1. Monday Meet: Luke and Will worked from home on Monday due to office move procedures. The usual 1-2-1 took place on Google Meet instead of in person, turning into a thrilling episode of “Guess Who’s on Mute?” Spoiler: it was both of them...🫤 2. Tuesday’s Transformation: Will helped out with elements of the new office move, one job being to help Christopher Monticolombi set up all the screens. Will looked more like a mechanic🔧 than a tech wizard, although the final result was 'magic'! 🧙♂️🪄🖥️ 3. Tuesday Night Triumph: Luke watched Arsenal F.C beat PSG 2-0 at The Emirates on Tuesday evening, which was a rare moment of football joy recently given he’s currently not topping the office fantasy league, much to his dismay! 🏟️⚽ 4. Wednesday Wonders: It was our first day in the new office! We celebrated with a brief meeting and breakfast, before starting the day in our new space! 🥐🥞 5. Thursday Team-Up: We joined forces with a few of the WeShape team for a quiz to celebrate the building's 9th anniversary and ended up coming 2nd, picking up some great prizes on the way! Not bad after only two official days, given one of the rounds was all about the building! Thanks to the team at Dawson House for organising a great event! @One Avenue Group! 🎉 6. We're now less than one week out from our public sector event! A couple of recent updates means we have two new esteemed panelists in James Uffindell and Simon King! Appointed in 2017 as London’s first Chief Digital Officer for London, Theo leads on London-wide digital transformation, data and smart city initiatives at City Hall. His role involves, strategic leadership on the digital transformation agenda for London’s public services, across the GLA group and the wider public sector. 🌟 Meet the Panel 🌟 Delighted to introduce Gina Gill, Chief Strategy Officer at the Cabinet Office, as an esteemed panelist for our upcoming Public Sector Event on Thursday 10th October! As interim Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Gina leads on the development of the vision for digital government for the UK. In July of this year, she took on the role of Executive Director, focused on transforming public service delivery and creating the right conditions to deliver government fit for a digital age. Prior to this, Gina was Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) at the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), designing, building and running digital services to make justice simpler, faster and better, and driving user centred service design and transformation. Gina started her working life as a software developer and has had a long and varied career in technology, working in programme delivery, operational and commercial roles. She joined the Civil Service in 2017, prior to which she worked predominantly in financial services at the Financial Conduct Authority, Lloyds Banking Group and Barclays Capital. It's that time again....... ⚡ Friday Flashback⚡ It's been a busy week for the LTL Team! 1. On Monday, Will helped Alexander Melville and Chaim Li in setting up the WeShape stand at the DigiGov Expo. The team truly put the 'Bob' in 'Builder' to get the job done! 👷♂️ 2. On Tuesday, Luke returned from a well earned break feeling extremely relaxed, until his Mum ended up visiting the WeShape stand at DigiGov, due to being at the expo herself. Fortunately, no embarrassing stories were shared on this occasion! 😅 3. In October, Luke, Will and some of the WeShape team are running the Royal Parks Half - London to raise money for Providence Row (keep an eye out for a post about this next week!) and on Wednesday, Will oversaw a quiz fundraiser to support the efforts of this, with Luke on the mic! 🏃♂️ 4. On Thursday, Luke and Will visited DevOpsDays London to catch up with our recent partners DevEx Connect! It was a great to catch up with the guys, as well as meet a whole host of new people!👫🤝 5. On Thursday evening, Luke and Will supported the most recent Data Engineers London! A superb meetup with plenty in attendance, plus the Wise offices didn't disappoint! Was also excellent to meet members of the community at the pub afterwards! 🍻 6. It's our last day in the current office today and we're very much looking forward to being in the new space next week, with Jack Moore giving the office the send off it deserves!🫡 Have a great weekend everyone!🎉 #LondonTechLeaders #Community #Events
