The perfect way to start the week, Choice Outlet are now open and trading at Luton Point, offering leading high street brands for less. The brand-new fashion and home outlet had an incredibly busy first day yesterday, with eager shoppers lining up before the store had even opened its doors at 9am! And that’s ahead of their special opening event planned for this weekend ✨🎉 And there’s more to come - we have a great pipeline of exciting brands gearing up to open in the coming months, as we continue to develop and enhance our retail line-up for the 15.5 million visitors we welcome annually. We were honoured to welcome the High Sheriff of Bedfordshire, Bav Shah MRICS, to the centre last week. Although the event we had planned was cancelled at the last minute, we were delighted that Bav Shah still took the time to visit our team. Roy and Lavinia shared insights into our ESG initiatives and local community support framework. We also learned a few things about the High Sheriff's role and its support for British values. Bav Shah even purchased a pot of our Luton Point honey, produced from our rooftop beehives, with proceeds going to Luton Foodbank. Thank you, Bav Shah, for your unwavering support of the local community during your tenure as High Sheriff of Bedfordshire 👏 #HighSheriffofBedfordshire #Luton #community #ESG

Thank you Inspire FM for welcoming us this evening to the #BigIftar 2025. We really enjoyed joining many in our community to share a communal sunset meal during Ramadan. And thank you so much for the recognition - we are so delighted to receive a Making an Impact award for supporting the community - means a lot. Was wonderful to see the winners of the 'Luton is home' competition recognised, young people showcasing the things they love about Luton through photography - great to be involved with this again. #community #ramadan #photography #loveluton Luton Foodbank Unleashing Potential Amar Azam Mohammed Tariq Sufian Sadiq Salma Khan Roy Greening Lavinia Douglass Abbie White Tracey Bateman

We are proud to have been the venue for a series of events to mark this year’s #InternationalWomensDay in partnership with a number of fantastic local organisations that all advocate for women including Bedfordshire Domestic Abuse Partnership, Women's Aid Luton, Stepping Stones (Luton), LUTON ALL WOMEN CENTRE, The Ebonista Project and ROS Better Bones. Their fantastic display, curated with local students, is still in situ over the weekend, so pop by if you haven’t already. And we can’t not take the opportunity to appreciate the amazing women that work here at the centre in a variety of roles across all of our teams. #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #womensupportingwomen

Yesterday six of our management team had a fantastic time meeting students at Woodlands Secondary School, a local special needs school catering for students aged 11 - 18 years with severe learning difficulties or profound and multiple learning difficulties. The visit formed part of a series of activities they are hosting for #CareersWeek. The students really made an impact on us with their strength and resilience, and their smiles and excitement to have us there certainly brightened our day. We could sense how happy they are at Woodlands, who provide such an inclusive and caring environment tailored to the individual needs of their students, ensuring they have access to fantastic learning opportunities and experiences. Thank you for having us Lee Nelson, Sandra Clarke. This event is one in a series of activities we organise engaging local children throughout the year. Next week we are welcoming a group of home educated children and their families to the centre for a #TakeoverDay style event, giving them the opportunity to explore different roles and work environments, helping to shape their futures whilst giving them a peek behind the scenes at the operations of a busy shopping centre. In July we will welcome a Y11 work experience placement from Challney High School for Girls, amongst other initiatives such as working with schools for our VE Day 80th anniversary event in May and sponsorship of a team of students at The Stockwood Park Academy who recently competed in the F1 in Schools STEM Challenge STEM Racing. Fundraising to support cancer patients through treatment with free gifts & wellbeing events - Chief Happiness Officer
Proud for our charity The Lewis Foundation UK to be recognised for the incredible project we ran last year Luton Point by hosting a charity shop within the centre that re-purposed brand new products destined for landfill, which instead was sold to raise funds for adult cancer patients in hospital. In recognition of our work we won an award at the Love Luton awards last week in the category of 'Health Hero of The Year' for the shop in the centre that enabled us to sell items at cheaper prices to the consumers, whilst making a difference to the patients and their families in hospital diagnosed in cancer. It was a win win all round. The award was sponsored by Atrumed Healthcare - thank you for your support! Loved spending time with Roy Greening Lavinia Douglass Tracey Bateman Laura McCluskey Claudia Mattocks - thank you for your ongoing support to make the work we do to helo others possible!
