Macai Projects Ltd have been working closely with Lendlease and with the advice of Michael Barratt MBE Barrett of TFL are looking at reviewing the pedestrian walkway which was formed on Burlington Gardens to allow for off-site welfare install. The idea is to create a “best in class” walkway through inclusion of all pedestrian’s, from the sight impaired to people of reduced mobility. To form a welcoming and bespoke corridor through the front of the project by engaging with everyone from locals to the very busy shoppers which utilise the area. Moving forward we hope to aid Lend Lease in creating a safe, well lit, well maintained and considerate passage which highlights the project and the local area through biophilic design, installation of vertical planting using @UK native flora and signage for the sight impaired.
