Allow me to celebrate the #DynamicDuo of Sue Nicholson and Claudia Calladine of Together - loans, mortgages & finance who together, raced across the world and came in 1st place to secure the top prize fund for us here at Manchester Youth Zone We’re so proud of the hard work, effort and sheer determination from the second they set off in #London to the minute they arrived in #Albania. I’d been in contact with them both during the journey and was actively following them on LinkedIn to offer support (from a distance) and to provide awareness to the challenge they’d undertaken. The stories I was told of sleepless nights, lack of showers, endless walking, late night busses and trains and more sounded painful and like such hard work! We can’t thank you enough for to doing this for us. It means so much to us here at the Youth Zone and we’re so grateful. The kids can’t wait to meet you when you can make it over and we’ve already shared photos with them of your journey. In their hands is a flag made for them by the kids here who wanted to send them off with a #GoodLuckCharm and something from us. To put it into context about how this money could be used. Update for Together - loans, mortgages & finance 's race accross the world challenge 🏃🏻♀️🌍🏃🏼♀️ We underestimated how challenging this would be but we are loving every moment... Including the sleeping on floors and jumping in taxis to chase down our coach which we missed!! 🚖 Following our stop over in Prague last night we caught an early coach to Vienna this morning (Unlike the boys we have been stopping for showers) We have checked in at our third checkpoint today in Graz, Austria. What a stunning place! We met an incredibly kind mother and son who donated us a hotel room for the night! Nothing less than 5 star treatment for us ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The next checkpoint for us is Romania! 🇷🇴 With Hungary en route. Big shout out to Manchester Youth Zone & HideOut Youth Zone... We're doing everything we can to win 1st price for you and the amazing work you do!
