VisitEngland’s annual #TourismSuperstar competition champions those in the tourism industry who provide an unforgettable visitor experience. The winner is crowned at the end of the competition, based on the highest number of public votes. From tour guides to wildlife rangers, Tourism Superstars are passionate about the destination they work in and set the bar high for the standard of service in England’s tourism industry. The winner is decided by public vote from a shortlist of ten finalists usually entered by their employers or destinations. Nominations are now open to find Tourism Superstar 2025. Councillor Richard Beacham, Cheshire West and Chester Council Deputy Chair and Leader’s Champion for the One City Plan launched the new One City Plan website at the #Chester Residents’ Association Group Annual Conference, earlier this week, and updated delegates on the plan’s progress. The One City Plan website can be found at: https://lnkd.in/eEexxvBV First published in 2012, the One City Plan (OCP) set out a strategic vision and regeneration priorities for the future of Chester and was updated in 2022 following extensive engagement with businesses, residents and stakeholders, resulting in a series of 45 actions to be achieved by 2045. Delivering the plan are five working groups that build upon existing networks and established groups, covering: Being In, Connecting, Experiencing, Making and Visiting Chester.
