  • Timeless elegance meets modern romance at the iconic Queen's House. As a former royal palace, built as a 'House of Delight' with spectacular views of the River Thames, it is a truly special setting! Wedding planner chenai bukutu came to us knowing she wanted to make a feature of the original circular marble floor in the Great Hall. The contrasting black and white marble against the putty pinks and cool tones of our softly structured circle of flowers, made for a beautiful and intimate setting. We designed these striking yet ethereal arrangements featuring blousy reflexed roses, sparkling nerines and boho grasses to perfectly envelop couple’s celebration and love story. • The Roden Centre for Creative Learning at The National Gallery opened to the public last week - a space where everyone can start a lifelong journey with creativity by finding ways to connect with great paintings from the past. We were delighted to create fresh and seasonal spring displays to celebrate the launch, choosing a playful, pastel colour palette with pops of hot colour woven through for a contemporary, youthful twist. Slim vases evocative of crayons or coloured chalks were hand painted by our team to pick up on the blocks of inspiring colour in the centre.   For the celebratory dinner in the Gallery, we filled contemporary ceramic bowls with our favourite flowers of the season including tulips, ranunculus, frittilaria, anemones, hellebores and poppies. Vibrant yet refined – a true celebration of the joy of colour and the changing seasons. Hosted by The National Gallery Photography by Hydar Dewachi Catering by By Word of Mouth UK

  • A night of flowers, fizz, and fabulous company at the iconic Saatchi Gallery last week as Team MJV welcomed colleagues from the industry to raise a glass to the future. From a colourful spring-in-bloom inspired installation and botanical themed cocktails and desserts by Host Hospitality to a gallery filled with icons of floral inspired fashion, we loved bringing everyone together to celebrate creativity and collaboration. • Last night saw the opening of the Saatchi’s FLOWERS IN CONTEMPORARY ART & CULTURE exhibition and our team were honoured to have been invited to create an installation for the entrance to the gallery. Our design was a living homage to everything we love about flowers and foliage – the drifts of colour, the intricate textures and how flowers add a thrilling dimension to a space. Flowers inspire curiosity and bring joy and we are forever grateful for the medium in which we work. The exhibition featuring over 500 unique works and objects runs until the 5th of May and it’s MAGICAL. Thank you to the Saatchi Gallery Events team for the trust - it was a creative honour to have helped you celebrate this inspiring event packed with so much jaw dropping talent. • Surrounded by history, art, and the glow of candlelight, we created an unforgettable tablescape to complement the grandeur of this iconic venue. Deep, textural florals and plants paired with golden candles set the tone for an enchanting celebration. Syon House provides the perfect backdrop for modern design to meet historic beauty — a match made in event heaven. Venue Syon House Photography Noah Goodrich twobytwo video

  • We’re proud to partner with the charity St Mungo’s and their incredible initiative, Putting Down Roots. We regularly donate plants from events, giving them a second life in a training garden in Clapham; where individuals are taught practical horticultural skills to help rebuild their lives.    We were delighted to host a wreath making workshop with the team recently, sharing creativity, festive spirit and the joy of flowers. It was wonderful to receive these kind words from the charity.    "Just wanted to say thanks so much to you and your wonderful team for the wreath making workshops, (and everything else you have kindly donated to Putting Down Roots this year)... we have a deep-felt sense of admiration and gratitude for your ongoing generosity. Your staff are amazing too, please pass on our thanks to them. We had a really lovely time on Wednesday and the positive impact of the day's activities on our clients' wellbeing was enormous and shouldn't be under-estimated."   Together, we’re nurturing growth, opportunity, and beauty in more ways than one. To find out how your event can be designed with positive change in mind do drop us a note.
