Scoring top marks for health & safety, quality workmanship and organisation is where we strive to be on every project. Yesterday, we attended a Finishes and Interiors Sector Round Table, sponsored by British Gypsum to discuss 'Competence & Digitalisation in the sector'. With the industry evolving to meet new regulations like the Building Safety Act, improving competency is more important than ever. This includes understanding how we use data to test and prove competence internally & externally. We also explored how digital tools and AI can enhance workforce skills. There is much work to be done in these areas as an industry, but if you want to learn more about today's meeting, the Round Table discussion will be featured in the April 2025 edition of the FIS industry magazine, SpecFinish. #digitalistation #constructionindustry

Our team recently visited Rotherham Skills Academy to test wall systems proposed as the optimal solution for SEN schools. The focus was on identifying the most robust Siniat materials and designs to withstand high-impact scenarios, such as kicking, punching, and object throwing. Measom installed various wall types, including 15mm single boards, double-layered 15mm boards, and with 18mm plywood, which were rigorously tested to assess their damage resistance and durability. This demonstration provided valuable insights into the performance of each material, guiding future designs for high-impact environments in schools. These findings are crucial to creating durable, functional spaces that support students with behavioural needs. New year, new division! 🎉📍 We are pleased to announce a new division for Measom in the South West. Jason Ryall has been appointed as Managing Director and will focus on driving growth and identifying opportunities in the region. This is an exciting step in Measom’s expansion as we build a strong presence in this area. Jason brings over 19 years of extensive experience in the construction industry and has successfully managed over 60 projects across various sectors, with values ranging from £100,000 to £3.2 million. Currently overseeing our works at Hinkley Point, Jason is already making his mark and we are excited to see what is to come! #southwest #construction #drylining
