Thank you, Tanya Simon-Hall, for leading such an important conversation at Medik8! To mark International Women’s Day, we partnered with our Beam charity Wellbeing of Women and were thrilled to be joined by Tanya, activist and founder of The Adeno Gang, who shared her invaluable insights on why menstrual health matters in the workplace. Breaking the stigma starts with conversations like these, and we’re proud to be creating space for them at Medik8.

Today, I had the incredible opportunity to speak at Medik8 about an essential yet often overlooked topic Menstrual Health in the Workplace. For far too long, menstruation has been stigmatised, dismissed, or simply not considered in workplace policies. But the reality is that menstrual health is workplace health. When employees feel supported in managing their cycles whether it’s through flexible working arrangements, period-friendly policies, or simply open conversations,it leads to greater productivity, retention, and overall well-being. In my session, we explored: ✅ Why menstrual health matters at work ✅ The impact of period pain and conditions like adenomyosis & endometriosis on employees ✅ Practical steps businesses can take to create a more inclusive and supportive workplace It was inspiring to see Medik8 leading the way in these conversations because when companies prioritise menstrual equity, they create a healthier, more engaged workforce. Let’s keep breaking taboos and pushing for systemic change in workplace policies! What’s one thing you think workplaces should implement to support menstrual health? Let’s discuss below! ⬇️ #MenstrualHealth #WorkplaceWellbeing #Inclusion #Leadership #TheAdenoGang #BreakingTheStigma
