Hello. we're Meet & Potato. We create live events that empower our clients to achieve their communication objectives. We collaborate closely with high profile brands like Holland & Barrett, Dunelm, Baxi, BT and John West. Whether it’s a conference, product launch, experiential brand roadshow, gala dinner or awards ceremony, our team of specialists will deliver. Our events inspire, energise and motivate audiences. We get under the skin of a brand, to discover what’s important to our clients, and articulate their message to the people who can make a difference. We immerse them in interactive environments that bring a brand to life. And we energise them with interesting & effective communication that engages on an emotional level. We motivate people, enhancing the way they think, feel and act about key business priorities. We operate like an extension of our client’s in-house team. Every detail of their event is covered. And we’re fun to work with too. A lot of hard work goes into creating a live event, but we make sure everyone enjoys the process. Client peace of mind is our ultimate objective. We insist our clients feel they’ve maximized the effectiveness of their investment. Our events get results. We like to think of it as Return on Objectives. It’s so much more than a set and stage to us.

  • What a proud moment for our client Dunelm. When we started working with the team back in 2016, Dunelm had around 150 stores across the UK. Fast forward to today and they're cutting the ribbon on their 200th physical store in Merthyr Tydfil - that's approximately 50 stores in just nine years! We've been lucky enough to support Dunelm's internal conferences along the way, seeing first hand how their ambition and hard work have driven this growth. Huge congratulations to the team!

    Our 200th store is now open!   We are delighted to announce that today we have opened the doors to our 200th store, in Merthyr Tydfil.   Our Chief People Officer & Stores Director Amanda Cox said- ‘Our stores have had a presence across the UK for over 40 years and this important milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to bringing ‘The Home of Homes’ to more customers.’   With a dedicated made to measure department, a beautiful Pausa Kitchen Café, our heritage brand Dorma and our colourful new addition of Sophie Robinson x Dunelm collection, the 200th store is a culmination of our classic quality and value with our ever evolving style and vision.   We are so excited to continue growing our store presence and look forward to welcoming all of our new customers.   • Last week, some of the M&P team attended the DMC Advantage Showcase for an evening of networking with top destination management companies, event partners and fellow industry professionals. The 10-minute speed networking sessions meant that everybody had an opportunity to connect with DMC representatives, discover new venues and destinations and learn more about the unique experiences we can offer to our clients. With Germany, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, and many more countries present at the event, we went around the world in 80 minutes before rounding off the night some top-notch food and entertainment. We had a great time and even won a prize in the raffle! We didn’t quite bag the holiday we had our eyes on, but who doesn’t love an Austrian Sacher torte?!

  • On Friday, we put our detective skills to the test for 'Have Fun at Work Day' with a classic murder mystery 🔍🕵️♂️ We swapped our planning hats for detective badges, sifting through all the evidence, interrogating suspects, and uncovering their motives. And we cracked the case... eventually! 🙃 Beyond the mystery, this was a brilliant way to sharpen our problem-solving skills, spark creativity, and strengthen our already fantastic sense of teamwork.

  • Throwing it back to an unforgettable event with our client Bensons for Beds! We helped the team at Bensons turn their vision into reality, creating a high-energy event that motivated and inspired delegates ahead of a busy trading period.
