It's #globalrecyclingday and to celebrate we thought we'd share an update of the things we are doing to re-use, reduce and recycle as an ECOsmart certified event agency. ♻️ 🚮 We operate zero waste to landfill in conjunction with local award winning waste management company - Briers! ⬇️Over the last two years our operations team have worked to reduce single use materials on events, particularly our team building activities and water bottles. This has saved up to 5,000 bottles a year being used. 🆕 Approx. 95% of our team building range now uses re-usable materials and materials are recyclable or biodegradable where re-useable is not practical in small cases. 🔋In our offices, we have recycling stations for all materials including cardboard, batteries and cartridges. 🪑Where possible, we upcycle furniture for use on our premises and any sets we make in our workshop get re-used on other client events. ♻️ We've teamed up with @eventcycle to recycle any obsolete event materials. 🛢️ Our kitchen team recycle cooking oil on site at our on site Wedding Venue - Mythe Barn. A stunning day for giving back to our community 💪 Last Thursday some of our team headed down into the local village of Ratcliffe Culey to help with an organised litter pick. 🚮 Here in the countryside we find litter is common, spoiling our surroundings and causing danger to animals, insects and waterways, so we teamed up with local people to keep our roads clean. 🗑️ It turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far which made for a lovely team morning out in the sunshine. ☀️ Well done to Director Joanna Garland, PA Anna Gomm and Caitlin, Pat and Amanda Fulleylove from our Housekeeping team! 💚 #eventprofsuk #sustainability #ecosmart #greengage #ESG
