Well done to all the Lionesses, a great start to 2025.
Epworth Forest U11 Lionesses vs Groby Junior Vixens It was a chilly morning for the Epworth Forest U11 Lionesses as they played their first match in a long time, and with uncertainty about how the team would perform. The game got off to a challenging start when Groby Junior Vixens applied some early pressure leaving the Lionesses with a tough task ahead. However, the girls quickly regrouped, showing remarkable resilience and determination. Despite the early setback, they battled hard throughout the match, working together as a unit. Esha was named Parent's Player of the Match for her tireless effort and battling spirit in midfield, while Daisy covered a huge amount of ground and was awarded Player of the Week for her outstanding energy and commitment. The girls showed significant improvement as the game progressed, displaying a never-give-up attitude. Well done to all the players – this was a fantastic start to the new year. Thanks to Mellor Bromley Mechanical Services for the support in sponsoring the kit

Great to be able support this worthy charity with our electrical partners at Morecroft Electrical Ltd and valued customer Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd
What a Charity! What a project team! What a supply chain! Our SAP 4 project team, with the support our supply chain partners have worked hard to raise a massive £7170 for Bristol and Weston's Hospital Charity. It has been a pleasure working with Bethan Hughes from BWHC on our "Name the Crane Competition". Patients from Bristol's Royal Hospital for Children entered their creative designs and suggested names. Congratulations to Georgia aged 7 and Ellis aged 11 who share the winning spot. Klaus will be the first name to don the crane, followed by Mad Metal Max. On a snowy Tuesday this week, we all came together for our "Christmas crane switch-on" celebration. Where the names were unveiled for the first time. All monies raised will go towards Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity's Christmas appeal, ensuring all those in hospital on Christmas day receive a small gift. A huge thank you to all those who supported the event, competition and for all those amazing donations. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 | 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁, 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗺 We are thrilled to announce the Practical Completion of our Purpose-Built-Student-Accommodation project at Huntingdon Street for our client, Metropolitan District & Securities Ltd, and funders, Urbium Capital. This exciting development, known as Arcadian under the EVO Student brand by Homes for Students, provides 293 PBSA units within a 7-storey new-build structure. The complex layout is designed around an inner landscaped courtyard within a tight city centre footprint, transforming the compact site which was once home to the Playland Amusements Arcade decades ago. One of the project’s standout features includes the careful restoration and retention of the Art Deco frontage, which now serves as the main entrance to the residences. The intricate design also includes generous amenity spaces, a green roof, study rooms and a gym. Adding to our strong portfolio of PBSA schemes in the Midlands, we’re proud to deliver thoughtfully designed, high-quality living spaces for students in Nottingham. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved, including our valued design team and supply chain, for their dedication and contributions. Looking forward to starting on site at Vision West
The creation of an £8.8 million skills hub to train people for careers in emerging industries and help businesses adapt to new technologies has taken a major step forward. Leaders from the college joined Mansfield Mayor Andy Abrahams and representatives from Mansfield District Council, Nottingham Trent University and contractors Clegg Construction yesterday to see the state-of-the-art building – called the Future Tech Skills and Knowledge Exchange – take shape at our Chesterfield Road campus in Mansfield. A large steel frame that makes up the ‘skeleton’ of the impressive structure has been erected, taking it into the next exciting phase of development. Due for completion in summer 2025, the flagship facility will accommodate around 300 college students and will deliver qualifications at level 3 and above, with a strong focus on innovation and STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) subjects. Incorporating facilities to support construction, engineering and digital technologies, it aims to prepare Mansfield to meet future labour market needs, plug skills gaps, and create better-paid jobs, particularly in sectors that are growing through advances in technology and automation. It will also offer opportunities for businesses to benefit from the technological expertise of both the college and university, and our networks of industrial partnerships.
