Changes to the Well-Led Framework - It is good practice for NHS organisations to regularly review their leadership and governance arrangements to ensure they are not only fit for purpose but maximise the organisation’s ability to meet its objectives. From April 2024 new well-led guidance for NHS trusts came into force. The guidance developed jointly by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and NHS England aligns to the Single Assessment Framework. Guidance on well-led developmental reviews is currently being reviewed. This Insight highlights the key changes to the well-led framework and outlines how MIAA approach developmental reviews in this area. At MIAA, we firmly believe in creating a stigma-free environment where mental health is openly discussed and supported. With most adults spending at least a third of their time at work, we know that the key to maintaining a mentally healthy workplace is by actively supporting the people within it. Kevin Howells, Anti-Fraud Manager and Operations Director, Gayle Wells, recently completed the Zero Suicide Alliance Suicide Awareness Training. Reflecting on her experience, Gayle shared: "I now feel confident I could have a difficult conversation with someone who may be facing suicidal thoughts." We're also proud to have a dedicated team of Mental Health First Aiders who are always available to support any of our team members. At MIAA, we are committed to making a difference—because mental health matters. 🌟 #WorldSuicidePreventionDay #WorldSuicidePreventionDay
