Chief Executive Officer at QuoLux™ - supporting business leaders to be the best they can be and #InspireBelief
Yesterday I was at MF Freeman Group for a review session of Team 2's How-To...SkillBuild programme, and what a great session it was, with lots of reflection and discussion on what they had learned from the How-To's and how they had used their learning in their roles and teams. It was great to see the group again and hear how they are developing both personally and professionally - thank you for all your participation and input. When leaders and their teams thrive so do organisations, and those with a high performing mindset prioritise skill development and ensure their people have time to dedicate to learning to improve their work. How-To is our extensive e-learning library of bite-size pieces of know-how available on the QuoLux™ Leadership Centre accessible at any time, on any device to everyone in an organisation. The How-To range has been designed to provide a common language and approach across 7 Skill Levels ranging from a junior / apprentice through skilled worker to team leader, manager and ultimately to the senior leadership team all within a SkillBuild framework. With this our clients are building an engaged organisation where leaders, managers and colleagues at all levels in their company can access tools, techniques and step-by-step guides whenever they need, especially when they seek help. Crucially, How-To supports individuals to do the right things at the right time by applying their know-how and learning in the workplace when it is needed most – in the moment when they are performing their role – providing insights for just-in-time solutions to unexpected problems. #InspireBelief #leadership #BuildingSkillsforaBetterFuture Rachel Addison David McGill Luke Freeman Hayley Coombs

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting The Rt Hon Mark Harper, Member of Parliament for the Forest of Dean and Secretary of State for Transport. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase our award-winning Freeman Homes' Severnbank development in Newnham on Severn, where construction of all properties has now been completed and the final phase of homes are available to purchase. Mark met with some of our customers, and he gave glowing feedback on the mix of properties, architectural styles, ecology landscaping across the development and planting within the attenuation ponds. Luke Freeman, Group CEO of MF Freeman Group and Founder of Freeman Homes commented: “it’s been interesting talking to Mark Harper about the challenges SME housebuilders face and discussing some of the potential solutions to overcome them – we look forward to continuing these discussions with him. With rising interest rates, the housing market has faced a challenging 12 months, but we are pleased to see it has turned a corner, and our Freeman Homes division has been successful in purchasing some new sites for a healthy future pipeline of projects”. The visit was organised off the back of Jack Richards (Management Trainee Quantity Surveyor, MF Freeman) and David McGill (Head of Organisational Development, MF Freeman) meeting with Mark Harper at the House of Commons to attend the House Builders Federation’s (HBF) ‘Skills showcase’ hosted by parliament in March. The event highlighted the ongoing efforts of the HBF and local companies such as MF Freeman and its Freeman Homes division to develop teams to construct high-quality and energy-efficient new homes. #BuildingForaBetterFuture #newhomes #housebuilding #Gloucestershire
