We're committed to a greener future🤝 As we work towards our target of Net Zero Emissions by 2040, we've made significant progress in reducing waste, lowering emissions, and improving sustainability. Here's the key achievements so far👇 ✅98% of operational waste diverted from landfill, keeping us on track for zero landfill waste by 2030. ✅59% recycling rate with a goal of 65% this year through better waste segregation. ✅14% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions since 2019, achieved through energy-efficient kitchens, air source heat pumps, and solar panels installed at 170 locations. ✅23% reduction in food waste, with over 2 million meals saved through our @TooGoodToGo partnership and 16 tonnes of food donated to @FareShare. We remain committed to accelerating our progress, with key initiatives for the year ahead, including expanding our all-electric kitchens program, launching a water reduction strategy, and strengthening supplier collaboration. Thank you to our teams, partners, and suppliers for making sustainability a priority🌍 #LifeAtMAB #Sustainability #NetZero #Recycling #FoodWasteReduction #GlobalRecyclingDay

Social Bite sleep out💤 On Monday, our incredible teams from Harvester, Stonehouse, and Toby Carvery took part in The Great Restaurant Sleep Out for Social Bite. With over 400 employees from 184 teams coming together to raise awareness and funds to help end homelessness. Nick, Toby Carvery Shift Supervisor, shared: "It gave me a better insight into the hardships of those who have no choice but to do it on a daily basis. It was a night I will remember forever. David Gallacher, Divisional Director, added: "The Sleep Out doesn't give us an understanding of what it means to be homeless, but as temperatures fell below freezing at 3am, it strengthened my resolve to help those facing homelessness. I'm incredibly proud of our teams for coming together to support such a vital cause." Thanks to the generosity of our teams and donors, we've raised nearly £47,000 so far and donations are still coming in! If you'd like to support this amazing cause, click the link here to donate: https://bit.ly/3XoXO8D #LifeAtMAB #SocialBite #TheGreatRestaurantSleepOut #Homelessness #Charity
