Last week, Team London Bridge celebrated the incredible strides in sustainability being made within the London Bridge business community. 🌍 From transitioning to electric - whether for large vehicle fleets, park maintenance tools, or even drones delivering urgent blood samples - to businesses championing carbon literacy training and pioneering new ways to monitor emissions in construction, the innovation on display was truly inspiring. We also celebrated an SME taking the bold steps to become a B Corp. Several of this year’s awards highlighted the power of innovation in reducing waste, making it the perfect moment to launch our ‘Towards Zero Waste’ initiative - collaborating with partners across diverse waste streams to drive real change. It was also a milestone moment: more than 50 businesses working in London Bridge have now signed the London Bridge Decarbonisation Charter, committing to collective action toward a net zero business district. 🌱 Achieving net zero is a journey we must take together. By celebrating success, we strengthen our business community, harness its creativity, and build momentum toward a more sustainable future. Thanks to the View from the Shard for hosting over 150 members from our business community.
