  • 𝗠𝗘𝗙 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 - 𝟱𝗚 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟯𝟭% 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 Total global broadband handset connections have risen from 4.03 billion at the end of 2017 to 6.6 billion at the end of 2024, according to the latest research by MEF Data. Over the same period, we have seen the launch of 5G network technology which now accounts for 31% of total broadband handset connections, compared with 60% for 4G and just 8% for 3G.
