As Black History Month ends, we want to share a few of the many inspirational milestones hit by black people in the legal sector. These are key parts of history which are important to highlight, and also link in with this year’s theme of 'Reclaiming Narratives'. By honouring the individuals who have made significant contributions to the legal sector, we hope to inspire the next generation of BAME solicitors to demonstrate that there are role models who look like them, and there can be more. These milestones are a reminder of how the legal sector has become more diverse, but it also shows we have a way to go.
