My doctor sent NATTC Ltd ASC triage report/letter/referral and reasonable adjustments via RtC to our vip fast track service Monday lunchtime and I was assessed 8:30 am today and at 2:45 today I was diagnosed Autistic by a five team medical team. They have sent a letter to my GP to send to Avon mental health and they recommend a new diagnosis of adhd/autism. Leading to over writing my original diagnosis of cyclothymia Phil Anderton

Dyslexia doesn’t have to stand between someone and their dream job. But we need to make sure we’re making the effort to support people with learning disabilities. It’s your duty as an employer to foster a culture of belonging and accessibility. Dyslexia has been a major hurdle for so many individuals who haven’t been able to find understanding or appreciative places to work. The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) says 10% of the UK population are dyslexic – which means that plenty of dyslexic people make up the working population. But with it being such a barrier for people with the condition, they can feel: ❌ Undervalued ❌ Undersupported ❌ Misunderstood Check out our blog post (linked below) if you want to ensure you don’t make your dyslexic employees feel this way! (It can even happen accidentally.) There is also tailored support out there for individuals, and if they work in a small business - it’s free. 😎 At larger businesses, it comes at a small cost, but it’s still subsidised by a government grant. 👉 It’s called Access to Work, and we can help you find out whether you or any of your employees are eligible.
