A question we get asked a lot is which safari destination our guests should choose. For the ultimate safari experience, few countries hold as much pedigree as these two - the sun-drench swathes of Kenya's Maasai Mara, meanwhile South Africa boasts one of Africa's largest and most diverse game reserves in the form of the Kruger National Park. To help you decide, here is a closer at a Kenya vs South Africa safari, so you know the best place to visit. https://lnkd.in/di7qRCf5

Today, as we celebrate World Elephant Day, we want to shine a spotlight on our incredible partners at Reteti Elephant Centre Situated in Northern Kenya, Reteti is Africa’s first community-owned and managed elephant sanctuary, established to rescue, rehabilitate, and release orphaned elephants. Driven by the Samburu community, the sanctuary empowers local residents, including women, to work as elephant keepers, promoting economic development and challenging traditional gender roles. Run by The Sarara Foundation, the centre is open to guests from all over, but those staying at Sarara Lodges have the opportunity for a special breakfast, lunch, high tea or sundowner on a deck overlooking the elephants - a private hour spent watching these precious creatures as they are interact with their keepers.  For more information, get in in touch with our team of Travel Researchers.
