    ‘The food was dreadful – what were the organisers thinking?’ You’ve organised an event and the food failed to live up to expectations. There weren’t enough chairs for the keynote speaker’s session and the AV ‘expert’ supplied by the venue was nowhere to be seen when the microphone cut out. Delegates were all over social media leaving comments about how bad the venue was – and you can’t help but feel responsible. The above does not have to be the narrative.     🇹🇷 Turkish delights! 🇹🇷 I didn’t know what I’d make of Istanbul before I headed to ‘the gateway to the world’ but what a city! I have left feeling so inspired by the vibrant culture and all it has to offer when creating bespoke experiences. Grand bazaar rooftop walks, whirling dervish welcomes and water marbling artistry…there are so many ways to explore and provide those once in a lifetime moments for incentives, or the fun activities needed out of a busy agenda whilst set in one of the many incredible venues to choose from. Taking it one step further and adding Cappadocia to the itinerary, just an hours flight away, is the cherry on the top. The perfect antidote to Istanbul with its serene and peaceful feel, world famous hot air balloon rides and architectural cave history…neither of which I can do justice, you just have to see for yourself! It’s safe to say both should be on your event destination list. Huge thank you to Mundus Representation, MEP Destination Business Solutions, ALL ABOUT FLIGHTS LIMITED, Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul and Argos Cappadocia for a truly amazing trip and showing us all there is to offer.     We had an absolute blast working with Honda Power Products on their annual dealer conference and team day recently, delivering two back-to-back events - one in the North and one in the South. 🚗💼 First up, we took over the beautiful Aldwark Manor Estate in Yorkshire, where we hosted a mix of meetings, a lively dinner, and an afternoon of competitive shooting at the scenic Thimbleby Shooting Ground. A week later, we brought the same energy to The Compleat Angler in Marlow, with a stunning riverside setting and more shooting fun at the legendary EJ CHURCHILL FISHING LTD. 🎯🏆 The perfect mix of business and pleasure kept everyone engaged, with delegates loving the blend of learning, networking, and friendly competition.     🌟 A Fantastic Day at the EN Indy Expo & Awards 2024! 🌟 Last Friday, we had the privilege of being part of the 5th annual Exhibition News Indy Expo & Awards, celebrating the innovation, resilience, and creativity of independent organisers in the events industry. It was a fabulous day full of insightful panel discussions and celebrating what makes independent events so powerful. Our CEO, Penny Noble, did a brilliant job moderating some of the key discussions (if we do say so ourselves!), tackling important topics like how to make your event budgets work smarter, the benefits of B-Corp accreditation, and why attendee numbers don’t always tell the whole story. 🎤 These conversations really hit home and sparked ideas on how we can keep pushing the boundaries in the events industry. A big thank you to Exhibition News for bringing the industry together and to everyone who shared their insights.     The ability to adapt and adjust services on-the-fly is what separates good event management from the truly exceptional. At Noble Events, we know no amount of planning can account for every eventuality, which is why we empower our team to make real-time decisions to ensure a flawless guest experience. During a recent automotive customer appreciation event in Spain, our team encountered a variety of unexpected challenges, from last-minute flight changes to unanticipated guest requests. But rather than being thrown off course, we saw these challenges as opportunities to showcase our adaptability and commitment to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction. Some of the on-the-fly adjustments we made to enhance guest experience were: ‣ Coordinating new transfer arrangements to accommodate flight delays and cancellations ‣ Adjusting the event schedule to allow for additional time at popular attractions ‣ Creating personalised concierge services to help guests with individual needs and requests ‣ Implementing an earlier-than-usual luxury breakfast service for guests with early departures to avoid the need for a less-than-impressive ‘take out’ bag By staying one step ahead and being willing to adapt to changing circumstances, we were able to turn potential challenges into chances to wow our client’s guests.
