This has to be the weirdest mistake that helped me grow NoiLabs. In the early days, I made a mistake that every business book warns against. I did everything myself, along with my co-founder. Writing content, closing deals, handling finances - if it needed to be done, I was the one doing it. It wasn’t about control, but it was just faster to do it myself than explain it to someone else. And for a while, it worked. Until it didn’t. Burnout hit hard and scaling felt impossible. I finally realized I couldn’t keep running the business like a solo project. But this mistake turned out to be my biggest advantage. By the time I started hiring, I knew my business inside out. I wasn’t just delegating blindly but also knew what worked, what didn’t and where I actually needed help. No one could sell me fluff and no one could overcomplicate a process I had already done myself. The mistake was painful, but it forced me to build something that had a very strong foundation. Would I do it differently if I could go back? Maybe. But would NoiLabs be as strong as it is today? Probably not. Sometimes, the worst mistakes shape the best businesses. What’s one mistake that ended up helping you grow? #hiring #scaling #entrepreneurship

This is the worst advice I have gotten as a founder! “You should play it safe.” I remember nodding along, thinking, "Yeah, that makes sense." Because at the time, I thought playing it safe meant being smart. But what they don’t tell you is that playing it safe is often just another way of staying stuck. Some of the biggest turning points in my journey happened when I did the exact opposite of “safe.” —> I hired before I was ready. Scary as hell, but without that hire, I’d still be drowning in work.   —> I launched before it was perfect. If I had waited, I would’ve missed the market timing completely.  —> I took a bet on an idea everyone thought was dumb. That “dumb” idea now drives in new customers. The more I think about it, the more I realize that every big move felt risky at the time. But looking back, the real risk would’ve been doing nothing. No founder ever made it by sitting on the sidelines, waiting for the “right” moment. The ones who win are the ones who move - messy, uncertain and sometimes straight-up terrified. If you’re waiting for a sign, this is it. Stop playing it safe. What’s the worst advice you’ve ever gotten? #entrepreneurship #founder

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮 “𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱” 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱? Yesterday, Naveen was pitching some content ideas to team NoiLabs. I asked, “𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨?” He rattled off a few, then dropped Kittl -- his go-to for design and content. I was pleasantly surprised 😀 I’d never met a Kittl user IRL, let alone on my own team! My only exposure? Hakon and Yuliia's chatter about it 🫣 Curious, I dug deeper. Turns out, Naveen once tried launching a T-shirt brand in #India. That didn’t take off, but his love for Kittl stuck. Now he’s bringing that creativity to us. There’s something magical about discovering a product’s fanbase organically, isn't it? Kittl’s presence in my life has escalated pretty quickly, thanks to Hakon, Yuliia, and now Naveen 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 “𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱” 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱?

"All 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 have to become 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴” … Last week, Deepak Nautiyal and I participated in the panel discussion on Creator Economy Trends for 2025 alongside Claudia Raupach and Olivia Dumnicka. We shared our learnings from the 1 billion summit Dubai and the challenges and opportunities we see in the creator economy. A few key takeaways : -> Authenticity Wins: Audiences crave connection over perfection. Successful creators are leveraging their authenticity to build loyal communities, not just followers. Creators should focus on long-form content to build connections. -> How to Use AI tooling yet remain connected and authentic with the content creation. With the influx of AI-generated content, the winners would use AI to drive productivity and their personal connect to win the audiences   -> We continue to see income diversification of content creators beyond the brand deals. And the demand for the resources and people to support creators build strong businesses is on the rise. Thanks, Factory Network for hosting us and to everyone who joined us for the evening. Special thanks to Naveen Sharma, Nachiket Mujumdar, and Garima D. for their support.

Subscription models will dominate the creator economy in 2025. The creator economy is shifting very fast. And if there’s one trend that’s becoming impossible to ignore, then it’s the rise of subscription-based income streams. Creators aren’t just relying on brand deals or ad revenue anymore but are building communities that pay to stay connected. Take Ali Abdaal, a productivity YouTuber from the UK. While his YouTube ad revenue is impressive, his membership platform, "Part-Time YouTuber Academy," brings in consistent income through paid courses and exclusive content. Or look at Jack Conte, co-founder of Patreon and a creator himself. He’s built an ecosystem where thousands of artists and creators charge monthly fees for exclusive content, making their income predictable and fan relationships stronger. Then there’s The Fitness Marshall, who offers YouTube workouts for free but charges for exclusive classes and behind-the-scenes content via a subscription model. His audience happily pays for the extra connection. This model is winning because it’s predictable and does not require guessing how much a brand deal will pay next month. It’s sustainable as creators focus on delivering consistent value because their subscribers aren’t just passive viewers but a part of a community building a deeper connection. In 2025, creators who succeed won’t be the ones with the highest views. They’ll be the ones with communities willing to pay for what they bring to the table. What’s one exclusive thing you’d offer if you had a subscription model? #contentcreation #subscription

Great panel talk last night at Factory Network Berlin alongside with Ankita Chopra Deepak Nautiyal and Olivia Dumnicka on creator economy trends for 2025 and beyond! After attending 1 Billion Followers Summit earlier this year we shared insights, discussed key differences between markets, the rise of creator-led brands and the role of data in the industry. Some key takeaways: Cultural nuances shape creator marketing strategies, what works in one region may not resonate in another. For example the UAE’s deep-rooted storytelling culture creates a unique environment where narrative-driven content thrives, while markets like Germany often prioritize precision, data, and functionality in brand messaging. Data is the driving force for creator marketing while authenticity remains key. Both UGC (User-Generated Content) and EGC (Employee-Generated Content) play a crucial role in brand storytelling, each bringing unique value. Exciting times ahead for the creator economy! Thanks to everyone who joined.

A Dark & Golden Age. That’s the title of State of Create, Patreon's latest 2025 report on the creator economy—and honestly, I think it’s a brilliant title! I highly encourage you to go over the details. . it’s well-structured, quick, and packed with incredible insights. But if you’re short on time, here are some key takeaways that stood out to me: 📣 1. Reaching Your Fans: Easier & Harder Than Ever The algorithm era has made early visibility easier than ever—you can get your first 100 views or fans quickly. 🔹 But here’s the catch: algorithms never let you rest. 🔹 They constantly shift your audience, making it difficult for creators to build long-term relationships with their fans. 📌 At NoiLabs, we call this "Algorithmic Cruelty" 📏 2. Short vs. Long-Form Content: Who Wins? 📌 Short-form content = Higher engagement 📌 Long-form content = Deeper fan loyalty and better earnings for creators. The real challenge? Balancing both for sustainable growth. ⚠️ 3. Creator Growth vs. Burnout Burnout is more real than ever. Patreon’s report calls it a “hamster wheel” effect, and the numbers confirm it: 📉 Over time, 50% → 60% → Now nearly 80% of creators report experiencing burnout. As the pressure to constantly create and perform increases, the creator economy needs more sustainable solutions. This is what we work on at NoiLabs. 💰 4. The Rise of Direct-to-Fan Platforms While platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn remain essential for top-of-funnel reach, creators are increasingly shifting mid-to-lower funnel engagement to direct-to-fan platforms such as Patreon and others Owning your audience = More control, better monetization, and deeper connections. 💡 Are you a creator—or do you know one? What are your thoughts on the state of the creator economy? Let’s discuss. PS: Link to the report in the comments.
