Help us home over 1800 pets a year!
About us
North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) is a registered charity founded in 1978 by Anne Owen. From one thin little Lurcher, we now care for over 1800 domestic pets a year. We have grown to meet these new demands and with the current economic situation these services are vital for the wider community. North Clwyd Animal Rescue is affiliated to the Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust and we are also members of the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) and attend their annual conference. There are many ways you can support NCAR – fundraising, sponsor a kennel or even supporting one of our NCAR charity shops. It really does make a difference! Or even better – if you are looking for someone warm and cuddly to snuggle up to at night – we might just have the perfect dog, cat or even rabbit!
