A real pleasure to partner with Aesop on this beautiful film
**A Sanctuary of Silk and Stone** On September 6, 2024, we are excited to launch a collaboration with Nowness, showcasing the spatial aesthetics of our first store in the capital city Beijing - through a personal narration from our partner architect Su Xiaomeng and beautifully captured through the lens of director Zhuolan. Aesop WF Central House 19 beautifully embodies the essence of home. Here’s what makes this store and story special: - **Honoring Heritage**: Every detail of WF Central House 19 has been crafted to respect and celebrate the rich heritage of the space and its location. - **Design Inspiration**: The unique architecture draws from the traditional Beijing courtyard residence, Siheyuan, merging historical elegance with modern comfort and Aesop’s aesthetics - **Emotional Warmth**: Each corner of the store radiates the warmth and emotion of a true home, reflecting our commitment to creating meaningful and elevated every day experiences. - **Enriching Senses**: Our design philosophy emphasizes enriching the senses, fostering a profound dialogue between the past and the present. A passion project that started when I first visited the store’s site location during a snowing January this year to witnessing the store opening with a memorable brand activation “Aesop Home” in May. https://lnkd.in/gS9dW-KF We hope you’ll enjoy the film on Nowness and if you are in Beijing next, most welcome to visit Aesop WF Central House 19: https://lnkd.in/g_itTGey This project with Nowness came to life through amazing partnerships and collaboration of our teams across Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, Paris offices and with the NOWNESS Global and China teams Musee Wu, Quincy Ng, Rita Wang, Michelle Qian, Vicky Xu, One Gu, Chen Che, Po, Chevi, Susie Cheng, Liam Alexander Hale, Tom Page, Anthony An, Hiroko Shiratori, Ai Kato, Allie Day, Paola P, Gaby Santos, Natasha Tang, Atelier SuaSua - Su Xiaomeng, Nikki Xie, Yvonne Su #Aesop #Beijing #StoreOpening #HomeEssence #Nowness https://lnkd.in/gb3FTvAg
