Block One has now reached level 28, with topping out expected on Block Two in March—bringing both towers to their full height. Once complete, we will begin work on the roof, marking another key milestone in the project. ALFRETON ROAD, NOTTINGHAM – Topping Out The RG Group site team at Alfreton Road, Nottingham reached the milestone of topping out the concrete frame recently. The Ceremony was attended by representatives from right across the project including from the client team, architects, sub contractors and our own site management team. THE FAIRFAX, MANCHESTER We have recently captured some drone footage of our project at The Fairfax in Manchester, being undertaken for our client Olympian. The development is really taking shape now with the concrete frame nearing completion and the envelope construction (SFS, curtain walling, insulation, render and brick slips) following close behind. POTTERY LANE, NEWCASTLE We recently visited one of our newest sites at Pottery Lane, Newcastle. The RG Group team Chris Broadhead Chris McCabe are progressing the site well, with the tower crane operational by Falcon Tower Crane Services Ltd and Stephenson Group starting the first lift & stair core and initial levels of the super structure. The housebuilding article of the day features Olympian and how they sealed funding for Bristol's tallest building yet 🏢 The funding agreement with Cain International and Apollo.io allows construction to advance on the scheme to build a 28-storey student accommodation block and a separate 18-storey co-living homes blocks. Builder RG Group is tipped to deliver the project which will complete in time for the 28/29 academic year. THE FAIRFAX, MANCHESTER We looked in on our RG Group site team at The Fairfax, Manchester project recently and captured some stunning drone footage of the development which we are delivering for our client Olympian. The scheme will provide 488 high-quality units with a mixture of 1 and 2 bed apartments across two towers of 23 and 29 storeys. The twin towers are connected at ground level by a glazed fronted reception lobby, all of which is being constructed within a short distance of Manchester Piccadilly station. The concrete frame is advancing well and is up to the 12th floor on the 29 storey tower and the 10th floor on the 23 storey tower. The glazing has also started to be installed at the lower levels of both towers. Now for the façade treatment of Aliva UK brick slips and aluminum rainscreen cladding and glazing systems . Excellent work by everyone involved with this project, from the design team right through to various sub contractor teams on site.
