And it’s just under 4 weeks till the Dodgeball World Champs 2024 begin in Austria where I’ll be representing England Dodgeball in the men’s foam division. Sadly, dodgeball is typically an unfunded sport, meaning players self-fund their trip. This includes, kit, travel, subsistence and tournament fees. Why you can eat the change you want to see 🌎 When we donate to Fundación de Conservación Jocotoco via our Oat M’lk chocolate, this is where the money goes - into bringing biodiversity and life back to Ecuador’s breathtaking rainforests like the Chocó (aptly named, we know!). “The Chocó has nearly the same level of biodiversity as the Amazon, but it is much more threatened. This area is the only place in western Ecuador with healthy populations of Jaguars. You can still find Harpy Eagles, Giant Anteaters, and White-lipped Peccaries here. At our Canandé Reserve, we protect many unique birds. We also protect the critically endangered Brown-headed Spider Monkey. Researchers estimate that there are fewer than 500 individuals of this species. Floristically, the Chocó is the most diverse and important region in the Americas. Great to have the support from the DBT and government to grow business in the UK and also to help develop our presence across the pond!
