Today we held a pop-up fundraiser with Red Sky Foundation ❤️ ❤️ 🍓 Sergio shared the Red Sky mission about raising vital funds for babies, children and adults, who are born with or develop heart conditions and who are in need of cardiac care, by providing lifelong support to them and their families. As a community building, we're grateful to have a defib in our reception area. We wanted to #PayItForward and help towards funding a defibrillator for another #Community building or local organisation. Thank you to everyone who popped a balloon to win a prize or bought a golden ticket! We raised £602 in just a few hours. Shout-out to our local businesses for kindly donating prizes and supporting a fantastic charity! This year, we’re delighted to provide Action for Children with an accessible and inclusive building to ensure their event is bigger and help more young adults enjoy the prom of their dreams. We’re excited to be part of this incredible community initiative which is set to help families across the North East. How can you help? On behalf of Carly Mcleary and Action for Children, we are looking for local businesses to sponsor an outfit, each donation will achieve the following: ⭐ A young person renting or buying an outfit will be made aware who sponsored their outfit ⭐ The young person can use the donation to go towards RENTING an outfit - bringing the cost down from £20 to £0 ⭐ Or the young person can use your donation to go towards BUYING the outfit - bringing the cost down from £50 to £30 ⭐ Action For Children promise to include your name as a sponsor in their social media promotion and any press releases Getting involved is easy and an excellent way to give back to your local community and help local families. Happy Halloween - Half term tricks & treats! Next week we have fang-tastic special guests coming along for some fiendish fun 🎃 On Wednesday we've have spooky treat pop-up and our faves Crazy Creatures! Then on Thursday it's time for Felt Nowt kids comedy show and facepainting Both days we will be carving pumpkins and crafting, so come along and get messy at our place instead.
