About us

¡Hola! We’re On the Beach. There’s over 500 of us, mostly at home, and sometimes in our office in Manchester. We send nearly two million people on holiday every year (not together) and we’re expecting to get to three million pretty sharpish. Why? Because we’re the only holiday company who truly gets why going on your holidays is the best week or two of the year. Better than birthdays. Better than Christmas. Better than the Monday after the Easter holidays, when the kids go back to school. It’s a time when the rules are relaxed, caution is thrown to the wind, and life’s simplest pleasures are truly indulged in. And because we get all of that, we work flipping hard to make our customers’ holidays last even longer. With our market-leading offers, scalable, flexible and innovative technology, strong customer-value proposition and low cost base, we’re challenging existing players and redefining how customers book, manage and experience their holidays. And it doesn’t stop there. With huge opportunities for growth, we’re on a long-term mission to become Europe’s biggest and most loved online retailer of beach holidays, so our story’s only really just begun…

    Ahead of our preliminary results on 3 December 2024, we are pleased to provide a pre-close trading update for our financial year ending 30 September 2024.     Who let the dogs out? We did! Well, kind of, we actually let them IN! 🐶 Yesterday, our Wellbeing Forum invited Guide Dogs into our On the Beach Aeroworks office, giving our Beachers a wonderful opportunity to step away from their desks and enjoy the company of four delightful guide dogs! The afternoon was filled with joy as excited Beachers and happy dogs mingled, creating a paw-sitive atmosphere 🙌 Big thanks to our Wellbeing Forum, The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, and everyone else involved, it was a barking success! Plus, we raised money for a great cause! 🐾

    After our tests revealed that blue, white, and grey swimsuits are nearly invisible underwater, even just two meters below the surface, we launched a petition calling for a ban on the sale of unseeable swimwear for children. Despite our best-efforts, high-street retailers and swimwear brands are continuing to sell dangerous coloured swimwear so, to keep our children as safe and as visible as possible, we’ve made our own and we’re giving them away to our customers! Customers going on an On the Beach holiday this year with children aged between 4-14 years old, can claim some free On the Beach swimwear for their children by visiting our campaign page.     Sign our petition to help keep children safe in the water this summer!! Working alongside Olympic Gold medallist Rebecca Adlington, we’ve today launched a campaign calling on the government to urgently review legislation around selling blue, white and grey coloured swimwear to children, following some alarming research. Our recent tests reveal that blue, white, and grey swimsuits are nearly invisible underwater, even just two metres below the surface! Two thirds (66%) of children wear these colours, meaning if they get into trouble in the water, spotting them becomes nearly impossible. And a worrying 90% of parents are unaware of this risk. But there’s good news! You can enhance safety by opting for swimwear in colours that can easily be seen underwater such as pink, red, yellow, green, purple, fluorescent colours and black, and On the Beach are on a mission to raise awareness of this! We’re encouraging people to play their part in helping us call for change by signing our petition and helping to spread the word.     What a week! We delivered Learning at Work🌱 and Mental Health Awareness Week 🧠 , On the Beach style🏖! 💥 17 events delivered over 3 days 💥 352 colleagues got involved across our masterclasses, talks and stalls 💥 Notching up over 3,000 hours of learning combined! A huge thank you to all those colleagues who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make it a great success - Jane Crawford, David Vaughan, Chloe Doherty, Assoc CIPD and Michaela Wareham - you are the DREAM TEAM 🙏 Massive shout out to those colleagues that delivered inspirational talks, Mand Cashin and Nadiia Chobit Roman - you were fantastic! ❤️ Philip Cotton - leading the way on our Wellbeing Wander to give our colleagues the chance to get out into nature and connect - what a result! 🌲 And Victoria Jones Employee Health and Wellbeing Specialist thank you for your incredible support in making sure our colleagues know all the great tools, resources and financial support available to them through SimplyHealth 💪 And more to come next week as we deliver sessions for our Classic Collection teams... can't wait!
