We are SUPER stoked to welcome Stephen Krauss into the Ooni fold as our President of North America 🎉 Stephen is incredibly charismatic, down-to-earth and shares our passion for relentlessly focusing on our consumers. We’re confident his leadership and experience will elevate our entire organisation, and we’re delighted to have him at the helm working with our multi-talented North American team in Austin, Texas. With a stellar career, most recently as the former President of Breville North America, Stephen has extensive experience in consumer brands all the way from confectionery (that's candy to y'all) to coffee machines. This gives him a unique understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour in a market so core to us. Stephen is super passionate about innovation and was drawn to the trailblazing DNA of our team here at Ooni and we're glad. As well as loving pizza (naturally;) He’s also very into family, health and wellness - I must admit I’ve stepped up my own step count in the last few days as a result;) Also well done Edinburgh for showing up with sunshine for his first visit to Ooni HQ. Yesterday*, we announced the newest addition to the category-defining lineup of Ooni ovens: Koda 2 Max. Koda 2 Max is the biggest oven we've ever made. It measures 24ʺ wide and 21ʺ deep so you can now make true, big-ass New York-style pizzas or up to three(!) 10ʺ Neapolitan-style pizzas side by side. Size is the first thing you'll notice about it but what you'll love about Koda 2 Max is the work we've done on the gas burner system to deliver absolutely industry-leading evenness of temperatures throughout the oven interior. It's hard to overstate just how good it is and needs to be experienced to be believed. You can launch a 14ʺ pizza right in the middle of the oven and get away without turning it once during the cook! There's much more to the oven too but that—for hardcore pizza makes like myself—is by far the greatest feature you'll notice when using the oven. Koda 2 Max is announced now and you check out more details on our website: https://lnkd.in/efvqw9t8 *I was on a video shoot for the product all-day yesterday in beautiful St Andrews, Scotland and failed to post a note about this then. Had a great time with the team filming intros to the product. We normally film a 60 or, in the case of Volt, 90 second-cook video for people to see the WOW of our ovens. In the case of Koda 2 Max we did something new and filmed a three-pizza-cook video! Yes, three pizza at once in an Ooni! These videos are always a bit full-on as they need to shot live with no cuts for the full effect of the performance and to remove any doubt that something's been faked. The sun and clouds, reading of the script, cooking of the pizza.. they all have to be nailed inside that one take. The filming went really well and I can't wait to share the results in the coming weeks.

Just a regular team lunch at our Bonn office, with everyone cooking together on Ooni Volt! It wouldn’t be lunch without pizza. All hands on deck :)
