Yesterday I had the chance to discuss in the New Space & Solutions conference the different challenges 🚀 that Open Cosmos and other companies find when offering and reach more users with the satellite insight applications 🛰️ and what the importance of the ecosystem of collaboration and creation of synergies between companies. The UK's space strategy has been instrumental in nurturing a vibrant ecosystem of innovative small companies. Now, it’s time to focus on those poised for rapid scale-up and global impact. This next phase is essential for delivering reliable global insights, securing communications, and forging international partnerships that drive economic growth. Open Cosmos has indeed secured significant investment rounds but our strength lies in our ability to win major contracts and build collaborative ecosystems wherever we operate. For example, our €35m NanoMagSat project—manufactured at our Harwell Science and Innovation Campus—plays a key role in the £80m awarded to the UK by ESA last quarter. Just 10 years ago, we were among the first space entities on campus; today, it’s home to hundreds of space companies and billions in investments, all achieved in partnership with the UK Space Agency, European Space Agency - ESA, Satellite Applications Catapult and many others.
