 Looking back – Itch one year on 🔬 Itch premiered on the stage at Opera Holland Park in July 2023. Commissioned by James Clutton and written by Jonathan Dove (composer) and Alasdair Middleton (librettist), it is based on the bestselling novels Itch and Itch Rocks by Simon Mayo. Last Wednesday we had the pleasure of opening our doors to 20 different school groups for a matinee performance of The Barber of Seville by our Young Artists. Students from across key stages two and three joined for the show, as well as a pre-performance workshop and an incredible meet and greet with our Young Artist cast and creatives afterwards. We're so grateful for our supporters that make it possible to organise events like these, bringing the arts to those who may not have access, and inspiring the next generation of opera lovers!
