The session provided valuable insights for our tenants on the current state and future potential of AI in business. The workshop covered a range of important topics. Participants learned about new AI applications that are reshaping various industries. The discussion on AI ethics highlighted the importance of responsible development and use of these technologies. Brian introduced the concept of prompt engineering, a crucial skill in effectively communicating with AI systems. The session also mapped out key players in the AI industry, giving attendees a clear picture of the competitive landscape. Importantly, Brian shared strategies for safely integrating AI into business operations while maximizing its profitability potential. Our tenants actively participated, bringing real-world challenges and their own expertise to the discussion. This created an interactive learning environment that enhanced the value of the session for all attendees. Participants gained practical strategies for leveraging AI in their businesses, from creative applications to methods for improving efficiency and decision-making. 🛠️ 103 Years Ago Today: A Snapshot of Belfast’s Industrial Past On this day in 1921, a group of hardworking men took a moment to rest from their labours at the Belfast Gasworks site—and captured a piece of history. This isn’t just any old photograph. It’s a reminder of Belfast’s rich industrial heritage and how it shaped the city we know and love today. From lighting our streets in the 19th century to fueling the economy, the Gasworks was “The powerhouse” behind much of Belfast’s growth. 👉 Did you know that profits from the Gasworks helped fund the construction of Belfast City Hall? By the end of WWII, around 120,000 homes and businesses were powered by this site. But as new technologies emerged, the demand for gas declined, and by 1985, the Gasworks closed its doors for good. Yet, the story didn’t end there! 💡 Thanks to a major regeneration project in the 1990s, the once-contaminated land has been transformed into a vibrant business park—an area that continues to drive innovation and economic growth today. A modern symbol of Belfast’s resilience and reinvention. We’re lucky enough to have this historic photo hanging right in the stairwell of Ormeau Business Park!
