🔴 People in Milton Keynes can now access specialist ophthalmology services at a new Community Diagnostic Centre which was constructed by Ashe Group ✨ This project was appointed by Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust via a two-stage tender process through the Medium Works Framework, which we manage on behalf of contracting authority The Education Alliance. Project highlights: 🔷 44 new consulting rooms with waiting areas, an operating room, staff facilities and a ground floor reception space 🔷 Improved accessibility with colour coded public spaces to make sure those with visual impairments can navigate easily. We are delighted to announce that we have achieved practical completion on our 10 month project with Birmingham City University via the Pagabo framework. In partnership with Cadence Projects and BCU, we upgraded 930 wireless access points across the 16 sites in the BCU estate. We would like to thank the university for the opportunity and we look forward to seeing where our relationship takes us in the future!

🌠Ashe Group takes lead on classroom updates for a wider redevelopment to update 1980s school buildings. ✏️Students at Shipston High School can now take full advantage of new state-of-the-art facilities, following the completion of the eight-phase project. 🔷This project was procured for Warwickshire County Council through the Medium Works Framework, which is managed on behalf of contracting authority The Education Alliance. 🏆Complete with new worktops, integrated Bunsen burners, fume cupboard and gas shut off valves, six new labs have been created in the aim of improving science teaching facilities at the school. 🔊 Progress Update The refurbishment of Stephenson Memorial Hall is progressing well, with some major works now complete. - The external works to St Mary's Gate and Station Back Lane are almost complete, which includes a two-storey extension, providing additional dressing rooms, a workshop and space for props and scenery, helping to assist stage productions. - Restoration of the roof is complete, with all tiles either refurbished or replaced and re-applied, with slating carried out. - External brickwork has undergone a specialist clean and has been re-pointed. - Windows are now being refurbished or replaced, helping to make the building more energy efficient. - Cladding to the first-floor extension on Corporation Street will commence soon. The new link gallery extension will create a gateway impact, improving the sense of arrival to Chesterfield and add education and community spaces to the building. - Inside the building, the first fix mechanical and electrical works are ongoing, along with painting. - Steelwork to the circle and reinforcement to the ceiling is also complete and the new stage is now in place. - The new mezzanine floor which provides a walkway and entrance to the circle seating area is also complete. The project aims to create a state-of-the-art cultural venue in the heart of the town centre and protect the building for future generations.
