We are eager to announce the successful financial close of over €680 million, Europe's first multi-country total IPP financing. The company secured the senior warehouse from a club of lenders including the European Investment Bank (EIB), ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Intesa Sanpaolo, NatWest, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation – SMBC Group and Bankinter, with Palmer acting as agent, which have placed their full trust in the robustness of BNZ's strategy assets, as well as in the company’s pipeline. The Holdco financing will be provided by Ares Management Corporation, with Alter Domus acting as agent. The TIPPF will allow us to accelerate the deployment of over 1.7 GW of solar PV projects by 2026 in Spain, Italy, and Portugal, while also supporting our plans for technological diversification and geographic expansion, driving robust and efficient growth. A heartfelt thank you to our partners who helped us bring the financing to a successful conclusion, Akereos Capital, Linklaters, Clifford Chance and Ashurst. But also to Garrigues, Gianni & Origoni, EY and Mazars in the legal and tax fields; as well as major technical consulting firms like Enertis Applus+, EOS Consulting, and Everoze; Aon on the insurance side, in addition to DNV and TAUW Group in the ESG spectrum, along with other reputable advisers that helped grow the day to day of BNZ’s business in the past three years.
