A big thank you to the amazing #SharonMcLaughlan from RESOLVE ASB for a really enjoyable Roundtable event at Devonshires yesterday in central London. It was invaluable to be updated about the political, legal and practical lanscape of the current and potential future of Anti-social Behaviour and associated areas of business. It was also a superb opportunity to present the many community safety services of Parkguard Ltd that are provided to so many clients. Great work carried out by a Parkguard Ltd patrol last week when they observed a highly distressed individual determined to end their own life. The person was stopped and restrained just in time. Keeping the person safe and supported, police were called, where the person was taken to a place of safety. " We rise by lifting others "

Parkguard Ltd extends it's policing family We are proud to announce that we are the only company in the United Kingdom to be accredited by four police forces. Recently, patrolling officers witnessed a young man attempting to commit suicide by throwing himself in front of vehicles in a busy main street. Sadly onlookers were more interested in filming the spectacle rather than seeing it at the major crisis it was. Emergency services weren't available and the young man was determined to carry out the act. The patrol persuaded him into their vehicle and transported him to hospital, where unknown to them, he was well known and had tried a suicide attempt two days before. This was brought on by years of abuse and cruelty. He was immediately assessessed and detained. The patrol visited him the next day and he phoned the office to thank us for the extreme kindness that the officers had shown and the fact that normally, he was just seen as a nuisance by so many that had let him down over the years. “More kindness, less judgement" #mentalhealthawareness #Helpingothers #Vulnerability

Was out on patrols with Parkguard Ltd last night, wanted to see the reality of what the teams face and pick up any changes we can make. Attended 4 estates, 2 town centre areas and a busy high street. Identified a cuckooed address, checked areas for weapons, reports of drug use, complaints of gatherings in blocks and finally came across a person in crisis who the team liaised with, reassured and took home with a follow up to support services. Some good things to take back but the biggest is the professionalism of the team I was out with; it was absolutely amazing to see the difference they made to just one of our residents at their lowest point last night. It was really humbling but also energising to see the things nobody hears or see but really being a support to the community.

This is why Parkguard Ltd is more than just a Community Safety company, empowering those in society that need help and support. The patrol came into contact with a vulnerable male who had fallen on hard times since arriving in the UK. The male had been exploited and mistreated in his home country before being trafficked to this country where the abuse continued. The patrol team supported him by buying him necessary provisions and referring him to the local authorities. He was mentored by the officers, given a bicycle by the team and taught how to use it. He is now in council accommodation with employment and striving to be independent. He is meeting the team again to thank them for changing his life. Happiness is felt by making other people happy

Let me introduce you to two Parkguard Ltd hero's. Patrolling on one of the wettest days so far in a Central London Borough. Imagine their horror when the saw a baby's buggy rolling across a busy road. Did other drivers slow down, no they accelerated around the pram at speed. Mum had turned her back, not noticing the her buggy had rolled down the hill and across a busy carriageway. The patrol acted quickly, calmly and professionally, blocking the pram from other road users. No one else stopped or slowed down. One officer jumped out and secured the pram, finding a 6 month old baby inside. The pram was moments away from being hit at speed. Mother and child safely reunited. Great job by Supervisor's #NigelHyde and #IoneIDidu, two of Parkguard Ltd's finest.

Congratulations to the #Parkguard officers that assisted with an eviction last night on a London borough, during which firearms and converted firearms were found and the tools used to convert them.
