📌 Interesting reading Our members at Rathbones Charity Investment Management and UK Community Foundations recently collaborated on a report on the benefit of bringing younger trustees on board 👏🏻 According to the Charity Commission, the average age of charity trustees in the UK currently sits at 57 years old, and more than two thirds of trustees are over the age of 50. Interim Co-CEO at UKCF, Kaveed A. said: “While there is value in the knowledge and expertise that more experienced trustees bring to the board, there is also an exciting opportunity to have younger people involved. This can help shift the conversation to be more forward thinking and future focused.” 👉 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gAu4j49t

We work with professional advisors to ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals to grow and enhance the quality of the support they give to their clients, the UK’s wealthiest individuals, around their donor and social/impact investment journey. We are a membership organisation for private client advisors, wealth management, private banking, independent financial advice, tax and legal sectors; as well as individual philanthropists and social investors, trusts and foundations, charities and social enterprises. We act as a knowledge hub and centre of excellence offering events, specialist knowledge sharing, CPD accredited and CISI endorsed training, voluntary standards and sector and government liaison. We train professional advisors, of all disciplines, to provide philanthropy and social investment advice to meet their clients growing needs for this support. Learning outcomes enable advisors to expand their expertise and advisory services, establish new client relationships and deepen their existing ones as well as retain clients across generations, by engaging the next generation in family philanthropy.
