Came across this video from an installation earlier this year at Lloyds Banking Group Head Office in Pixel Inspiration's home town of Manchester. The creativity in the physical design, with the production of content on the displays turned out magical! Audio integration with the visual PC system also allows audio to takeover the sound system within the space, so LBG's TV adverts can really stand out to visitors. Nikk Smith is Managing Director of Pixel Inspiration, a subsidiary of Staci 💥 As co-founder of the company, he has been with it since its inception in 2004. “Pixel was my inspiration, if you’ll forgive the pun 😉” Starting out as the Technical Director, it quickly became clear that his strengths lay in business development, where he could significantly add value to the company. “This is still my main day-to-day focus, for which I combine my technical and commercial experience to help clients achieve their goals in the in-store digital space.” 🤔 Nikk describes himself as “quite an unusual Managing Director”, as he remains deeply involved in the sales, marketing and technical side of the business. “Thankfully, I have an amazing team of over 100 people who manage the majority of the day-to-day operations and allow me to concentrate where I can add the most value,” he adds 💙 During these 20 years, Pixel Inspiration grew into being one of the largest specialist providers of digital signage for retail - all while keeping an honest and down to earth approach. “I think these are the benchmarks of a good business” 🙌 #wearebpostgroup #peopleofbpostgroup

2004 - what a momentous year it was! Facebook was founded, NASA landed two rovers on Mars, and Lord of the Rings swept the Oscars. 2004 also saw the founding of Pixel Inspiration. ✨ We recently got our team and major suppliers together in one room to celebrate two decades of Pixel fun. Thanks to Pixel's own Ministry of Fun Officers for organising such an extra special event. After the break WHSmith and Pixel Inspiration presented their 'Retail Digital Transformation.' Learn about WH Smith’s 460+ retail sites and how they have used AV solutions to implement a digital media network. Digital solutions are used on large-scale impactful store fascia’s, and instore on gondola ends and video walls. The presentation includes a number of creative campaign examples that draw on customers interest and covers how great content campaigns can be designed and delivered as a partnership between agency and client.
