We're delighted to share the remarkable progress being made in the #MetX research study. PrecisionLife and Metrodora Institute have begun sharing the first results with #MECFS and #LongCOVID participants - bridging from Biobank Analysis to Bedside in record time and marking a significant breakthrough in #precisionmedicine approaches for complex, chronic diseases. 💡 Participants receive a detailed research report that identifies the underlying mechanisms of their disease, leading to more accurate diagnoses and the possibility of tailored therapies. 🎯 More results will be shared with study participants in the coming months as we continue to develop new genotypic diagnostic tests. Participants may also be invited to join focused trials in the near future that evaluate the effectiveness of repurposed drug candidates targeting their specific disease mechanisms. 💚 If these drugs prove effective, they could demonstrate the potential of precision medicine to modify diseases and accelerate the development of new, targeted treatments that improve the lives of millions of people who have been waiting for solutions. ➡️ Read the full press release here: https://lnkd.in/eHi-vKu7 The MetX study is funded by a generous grant from the Metrodora Foundation and will expand to 1,000 participants. US residents can join the study by visiting https://lnkd.in/eaKzcEdG. Download the MyDataHelps Metrodora Connect App to find out about future #clinicaltrials and research opportunities.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth BioTechX in Basle this week. We value everyone's engagement and interest in PrecisionLife. Krystyna Taylor delivered an excellent talk in the #AIDrugDevelopment track and garnered many positive comment from those who followed up afterwards. One of the strengths of BioTechX is it brings together the value chain of everyone developing, servicing and applying #AI in life sciences. Thank you to NashBio who made tea available, and Gemma Hughes for laughter that powers you through a show. KEMIO Consulting kindly invited us to their fantastic networking event. Great conversations with Richard Vivier, Thorben Seeger, Henrik Tommerup, James Duboff and many many others 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
💡 How are we able to create better, more personalized #diagnostic tools and #precisionmedicine options for complex conditions? 💡 How do we accurately link patients to effective drug #targets, #trials, and #treatments via their mechanism of disease? Join us at BioTechX to find out. See our VP Portfolio Strategy, Krystyna Taylor, present on the #AIDrugDevelopment track and meet PrecisionLife Co-founder and CBIO, Rowan Gardner, at Europe's largest pharmaceutical development and healthcare event. 📍 Visit booth #924, October 9-10, Congress Center Basel to discover more. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dGcQqSQd

Thank you Johnson & Johnson and California Life Sciences (CLS) for the opportunity to showcase some our amazing team at PrecisionLife have achieved in finding more novel causal and predictive mechanistic insights into chronic disease biology and linking each insight to the patients for whom its relevant using mechanistic patient stratification biomarkers. We are honored to he one of five finalists. #causalbiology #patientstratification
It’s time for Johnson & Johnson QuickFire Challenge Pitching AI for Pharmaceutical R&D presentations! These finalists went through a rigorous review process with experts from Johnson & Johnson’s Data Science & Digital Health team before being selected to present their ideas at the event today. Participants in this MetX study have begun receiving their results as part of our work to better understand ME/CFS. The detailed research report identifies biological markers that provide insight into the underlying mechanisms of the disease. Our partner, PrecisionLife, identified the first-ever replicated genetic associations in both ME/CFS and Long COVID. Metrodora Institute designed, recruited, and returned the first research results to develop new diagnostic tests to screen for these markers. Using those genetic findings, researchers are now gaining insights into what could be causing these chronic conditions and associated symptoms. This information is a massive step forward in providing more accurate diagnoses and the possibility of tailored therapies. More results are expected to be shared with study participants in the coming months as we continue to develop new genotypic diagnostics with PrecisionLife. Participants may also be invited to join focused trials in the near future that evaluate the effectiveness of repurposed drug candidates targeting their specific disease mechanisms. If these drugs prove effective, they could demonstrate the potential of precision medicine to modify diseases and accelerate the development of new, targeted treatments that improve the lives of millions of patients who have been waiting for solutions. We look forward to publishing our findings in the future. Meanwhile, this study is open to enrollment with plans to expand to 1,000 participants.
