Today was a good day in the office... just look at what we've had delivered!📨 A little while back we were looking into how to best show our company values when we came across the Good Business Charter. While reading through the website we very quickly realised the commitments of the GBC aligned with ours - it was like it was meant to be! There are 10 main components to the GBC covering a range of important issues, from ethical employment practices to prompt payments. "The Good Business Charter is a simple accreditation which organisations of all sizes in the UK can apply for in recognition of responsible business practices. We recognise, champion and encourage responsible business behaviour for the benefit of people and planet." We can't wait to get the kettle on and dive into "The Ethical Capitalist" by the founder of the GBC himself, Julian Richer, to see what more we can all learn. We are excited to introduce a key player in Pro:Public, whose extensive experience in policing is a tremendous asset to our everyday - Head of Policing, Robert Revill! Rob served 30 years with the Metropolitan Police, holding roles such as T/ Chief Superintendent overseeing frontline policing, CID and Criminal Justice. He was also the Deputy National Police Coordinator during Covid and led Inspection and Review teams for the UK Home Office. Rob's career highlights include his work as OCU Commander for Tower Hamlets and the Roads and Transport Command, the country's largest policing command. He is also qualified in Change Management and is an EMCC Coach in leadership. At Pro Public, Rob manages all policing-related matters, staying well-informed on the latest changes in policing, legislation, and government reports through diligent research. So, you've probably guessed it's not just Brian keeping us going...   Many of the relationships we hold with senior strategic partners are because of Clive Darvill's work.   Clive joined us after 30 years in policing; starting as a front-line cop, progressing to Superintendent and spending 4 years as transformation directorate at the Metropolitan Police where he led a number of technology and people projects.   He describes this time in transformation as his apprenticeship into consultancy! Now, he's constantly building relationships relating to any current and future partnership opportunities, keeping us all up to date with tender opportunities.   Since finishing his time as an Officer, Clive has led our team in supporting the Cabinet Office, Counter Terrorism Policing, Greater Manchester Police and West Yorkshire Combined Authority. Yesterday our team had the fantastic experience of attending the "Unlocking the Future of Policing: A Digital Transformation Summit" hosted by Cisco & Cinos at the McLaren Racing Technology Centre! A special thank you goes to Dan Worman for inviting us to join two of our favourite Law Enforcement and National Security technology partners. We were delighted and humbled to have our very own Brian at McLaren to support such a prestigious event, we are grateful to be part of such a thought-provoking and talented ecosystem! Our highlights from the event included insightful examinations surrounding: Digital leadership in Policing, CINOS Cloud for Blue light, Technology case studies from Police Scotland & CISCO observability (and the cars!!). A big shout out must also go out to the fabulous McLaren Automotive Ltd Brand Ambassadors that lead a tour of the Technology Centre where we saw the historical collection of cars and trophies, the Formula 1 Facility AND behind the scenes of the Formula E & Esports Teams. We are thrilled to share we are currently working with the British Transport Police and its amazing staff to review the Force’s Performance and Tasking processes. Our Head of Policing, Robert Revill, has been leading the team joined by colleagues from the U.S. - former NYPD performance gurus: Robert Wasserman and Debra Piehl. The review will provide recommendations to consolidate BTP’s existing performance management framework & practices. This will support the Force’s Guardians of the Railway Strategy, to protect those who work and travel on the rail network. A huge thank you to Chief Constable Lucy D'Orsi, Deputy Chief Alistair Sutherland and Melissa Morton from all at ProPublic for commissioning the review work. With a special appreciation to the Head of Analytics & Insight Ashley Auger and Analytical Insight & Statistics Manager Lara Adamson for their engagement and support.

The Police Industry Charter has been created to set foundational principles upon which industry partners and UK policing collectively agree. In signing the charter and reflecting on its purpose, we looked to our own strategic vision - the heart of our USP: ProPublic is a company with the deepest of roots in law enforcement.
