HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd has revealed the latest progress on a new green bridge set to cross the high-speed railway near Kenilworth, Warwickshire. Stoneleigh Road bridge will consist of a dual carriageway for vehicles and provide two nature corridors – giving safe passage for wildlife to cross the railway. Later this month Centre 56 fundraising Officer, Alex Rigby, hopes to raise over £35,000 for the local domestic abuse charity by taking on a unique ultra-marathon challenge. His 107-mile route will cover the full Merseyrail Network, visiting all 69 stations on the Wirral and Northern Lines.
