Recent Spaces are proud to reveal another wave of atmospheric and ultra-detailed visuals our team crafted for the unique Banyan Tree Bimini hotel & resort for BanyanTree designed by Oppenheim Architecture and beach club by Bonito, as part of a major marketing package including stills, vignettes and cinemagraphs. The resort features 26 overwater bungalow suites - a first for the Bahamas - and 24 beachfront bungalow suites, each with its own terrace and plunge pool. Most of you know Ishah Rayson, and many of you will have have had the pleasure of working with her, but what you may not know is that she wears many hats, taking care of the studio and team, managing all our projects & accounts and most recently she's taken a leading role in art directing & producing the concept art for multiple key projects, helping our clients, particularly those in the Product Design world, see their products in beautiful, believable spaces, whether illustrated by hand or in mixed media, for our 3D artists to then translate into fully realised rendered visuals. It's always a pleasure to support the media operation for a royal visit. And, a particular pleasure yesterday to have launched a new building project, which will transform people's first impressions of the Abbey, with an interactive tour by 3D architectural render specialists Recent Spaces. It's long been an ambition of mine to commission this type of digital asset. And, it made explaining the vision to the media (and HM The Queen) so much easier. The modern use of the phrase: "a picture is worth a thousand words", is widely attributed to Fred R Barnard in an advertising trade journal, in 1921. He was promoting the use of images in ads appearing on the sides of streetcars (trams). Dear Mr Barnard, yesterday, over a century later, a whizzy 3D tour was worth a thousand words.
