Great British Menu Contestant Lawrence Barrow x Renegade Supper Club We are now able to reveal the exciting news that Lawrence is one of the contestants competing to represent Northern Ireland on the Great British Menu. Watch him on TV this evening and then come and sample his craft at Renegade Urban Winery, Walthamstow on the 26th March. Lawrence discovered his passion for cooking as a way to travel. His culinary adventures took him to kitchens in Australia, Italy, and New Zealand, shaping his style by blending global influences with his Northern Irish heritage. Back in the UK, he honed his skills at Michelin-starred restaurants, including Muse, under Tom Aikens, and later became head chef at 12:51. Now focused on his own projects, Hearth and Tine, Lawrence hosts pop-ups and collaborations, crafting bold, modern dishes inspired by his travels and Northern Irish ingredients. On Great British Menu, his creations celebrate Northern Ireland’s cultural icons with innovative, visually stunning storytelling through food. See Lawrence tonight (11th March) on the Great British Menu BBC 2 at 8pm Tickets and menu: https://lnkd.in/ey6bjWpe

Behind the Scenes at the 2024 Vintage Photo Shoot A huge thank you to all the incredible individuals who made this year's photo shoot - both the familiar faces and the new, we are so grateful for your participation and the efforts made to attend, with some travelling from as far away as Cheltenham and even Taiwan! And to everyone who sent in an application—we were truly overwhelmed by the volume and of submissions this year. Each year, we refresh our labels to reflect the vintage. If we’ve crafted a wine using the same grapes and method as a previous year, we re-shoot the eyes featured on that label. You might notice subtle changes as the vintages evolve, which is all part of the wine’s ongoing narrative. Our labels are more than just eyes; they’re a celebration of the diversity in our community and the customers who continue to inspire us. We can’t wait for you to see the final result on our bottles very soon.

HIRING: Wine Sales (& Marketing?) Guru for Renegade Urban Winery I'll get the proper LinkedIn/English Wine Jobs forms up soon-ish but as firm investment commitments come in for our fundraise we're feeling super positive and it's time to put a little fuel in the engine of Renegade. We have (believe it or not) ever had any sales people (or wine specific marketing function) as part of the business. As we ramp things up, increase production and look to launch a new range of more affordable wines, we need some help telling the good people of the UK what we have available and showing them the wines. I've added marketing as it's very linked and having that skill set would be awesome too. We are looking for someone with good experience, a track record of selling to, looking after and being part of the UK wine scene. Predominantly focusing on the on-trade but experience in the off trade, export, D2C, FMCG off trade would be ace too. Sales will be the focus, but hell, if this person is amazing at marketing, social media, loves hosting events, wants to help out with some bits of winemaking, and can add value to the business in other areas, we won't say no. In fact having a core skill but being willing to get involved is key. This person needs to be self starter, someone with confidence, connections, drive, desire and a love for wine and the industry. Experience wise, we're open-minded but we need someone who wants to be part of building something from an early stage. Knows the grind, knows how small businesses work, knows we're a challenger brand, knows we're different and can take the lead in being part of something great. This may mean they have 2 yrs on-trade sales experience or 8 yrs running a team and covering different markets and spaces. Or they may even be part time? They just need to know sleeves need to be rolled up. As such, salary/benefits is an open discussion based upon who fancies being part of the future of British wine! Sommeliers? Who do you like who sells to you and think could be a great addition to the team... Cheers!

It's that time of year again - we're searching for the new faces of Renegade. The wine is ready, but the bottles need their eyes. At Renegade, we celebrate our community and the diversity within it. That’s why our bottles reflect the people who drink our wine - representing all demographics from 18 and up. If you’d love to see your face on a bottle, submit your application by midnight on February 20, 2025. More info on the form Sign up here: https://bit.ly/4jAZZ2A #londonwine #urbanwinery

🍷 🚀 After 9 wonderful vintages (2016-2024) it's time to take Renegade Urban Winery to the next stage. We're doing a small EIS fundraise to scale up and also launch a sister brand that will see excellent British wines on a shelf for c£14 a bottle. A complete game changer for the market. If you're keen to be part of this wine revolution get in touch. Having lots of wonderful conversations at the moment, but always keen to partner with great people/investors. 🚀 🍷 #britshwine #craftwine #londonwine #urbanwinery #nextphase #fundraise #eis Charlotte Beyer Sarah W.
