Scaling nature-based solutions in the UK's National Parks and beyond
About us
Revere is an award-winning collaboration between the UK National Parks and Palladium that scales nature-based solutions to restore landscapes across the UK’s National Parks and beyond to tackle the climate emergency and biodiversity crisis. Revere designs nature restoration projects, raises private capital to fund them, and generates revenue through the sale of ecosystem services. This approach creates new income streams for farmers and landowners seeking to improve the quality of landscapes and support biodiversity. Revere restores degraded peatlands and expands species-rich, grasslands, woodlands and wetlands. We generate revenues for land managers through the valuation and sale of ecosystem services, including carbon credits, biodiversity outcomes, natural flood management and water quality improvements. If you are a landowner interested in restoring nature, or a company or investor looking to support nature restoration in the UK, then get in touch. Revere is proud to be developing a nature restoration platform in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. The initiative aims to help create a pipeline of projects which will help to attract responsible private investment in Scotland’s nature. It will contribute to carbon removal, biodiversity uplift, control of invasive species and foster support to help local communities thrive. This project is supported by The Scottish Government’s Nature Restoration Fund, managed by NatureScot. #naturerestoration #carbonremoval #naturalcapital #Scotland

The UK Climate Change Committee recently reported that the country is not on track to hit its targets of reaching net zero by 2050. In its recommendations, it calls for an urgent increase in tree planting and peatland restoration. It's exactly what Revere: Investing in Natural Capital is already doing across the UK's National Parks. Learn more about the team's work and how they can help implement the Committee's recommendations. Read more: https://ow.ly/tin350TaNzN #ClimateChange | #NationalParksUK | #TheCCC

Congratulations to the UK's National Parks on being the first national parks in the world to join the #RacetoZero! They'll use their partnership working and convening powers to drive their landscapes towards lower emissions alongside an ambition to move 610,000 hectares of land across the fifteen National Parks into nature-friendly management. This will include restoring 168,000 hectares of damaged peatland and creating 218,400 hectares of new woodland. Revere: Investing in Natural Capital – delivered by Palladium: Make It Possible and National Parks Partnerships - is part of the solution to creating lower carbon National Park landscapes. Our pipeline of locally designed woodland and peatland restoration projects will be part of this change. We scale them and leverage private investment into them - meaning a faster route to delivering nature-based solutions in National Parks that help us all get closer to #NetZero.
