Our next Level 3 Diploma for a Bulk Storage Operator Technician commences on 7th October 2024 at the National Centre for Process and Manufacturing, this course underpins the the role for an Operator Technician, providing underpinning knowledge at supervisory level. This 10 day workshop enables learners to gain all the knowledge units for this GQA Qualifications Ltd with learners than able to continue their progression by undertaking performance assessment at site. Successful completion of the full qualification enables learners to progress to gain Engineering Technician status via Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). Cost for the nowledge workshop is discounted for Tank Storage Association member companies. Our journey this past 15 years has, and always will be about connecting competence and creating career pathways within our sector, it is a subject close to the heart of John Reynolds our MD, whose passion and drive remains stead fastly focused on working with all stakeholders within the sector including Tank Storage Association, (and its members) Cogent Skills, SIAS. This last two years we have been working tirelessly with the #TSA, its Member Companies, #Cogent and #IfATE on the new standard for entry level into the Bulk Storage and Energy Infrastucture Sector with the #BSTT (Bulk Storage Terminal Technician) Apprenticeship. The standard is now with the Secretary of State for Education (#BridgetPhillipson) awaiting that final governmental approval, its the final piece of the puzzle before the official launch of this #milestone achievement. With four weeks to go Reynolds Training Services Ltd are full steam ahead getting ready for the Tank Storage Association Conference and Exhibition. Our focus this year is #Apprentiships and the new Bulk Storage Terminal Technician Standard (BSTT) that the TSA, its members, Cogent and Reynolds have been developing as part of a trail blazing group. Its been two years of work that is being realised now! The upcoming launch of the BSTT represents an opportunity for the sector to get on board and start to develop the talent of tomorrow, today! And we at Reynolds are not only excited by this, but also proud to be part of the team that has worked on this.
