South Lodge, a Country house hotel a part of Exclusive Collection's portfolio recently announced the opening of The Reeds! -Eight lakeside lodges set within the estate’s 93-acre grounds in the West Sussex countryside. Of course, we had to show them off in the most recent edition of Premier Hospitality Magazine! Designed by architect FELCE & GUY PARTNERSHIP LLP and Sparcstudio an independent, creative design studio with a reputation for excellence in Spa, Wellness, Hotel and Resort design. The Lodges sit perfectly placed on the edge of the lake, the eco- lodges are double height sanctuaries with their own cantilevered private decks, with the six lakeside lodges overlapping the water. Featuring works by the brilliant Powells Limited who were appointed as the main contractor. Joinery works by Edmont Ltd. and Poole Joinery. Furniture by RHA Furniture Ltd, full electrical install and alarm system by KGO Contractors Ltd and amazing LED mirrors by LUMA MIRRORS Each lodge is named after lakeside flora and fauna, (Meadowsweet, Dragonfly etc.) and incorporate biophilic design principles to immerse guests in the restorative power of the surrounding landscape, whilst following sustainable construction processes, materials and finishes.
