Well yesterday was a first for me, I had the pleasure of celebrating British IP day at the Houses of Parliament! Thanks to the Alliance for Intellectual Property and Publishers' Licensing Services (PLS) for the invitation. It was a great evening and fun to hang out with fellow creative industry copyright geeks for the evening! The ministers that spoke were reassuring about recognising the need for IP owners to have control, consent and compensation in relation to re-use of their works, in the age of AI. So let's see... (Picture of possibly the grandest place I've ever washed my hands!)
