Road Rail Plant in collaboration with SPHERE 24 LTD are excited to bring to market a UK first. This Telehandler RCL (rated capacity limiter) with height and reach limitation! What’s new? This is a RCL as apposed to your standard weigh loader which can inform you of your attachment and load weight in a singular position this system not only gives you your load weight in any position but it can also display and monitor your safe working load in all positions and prevent this being exceeded causing overload / tip conditions. The smart cab display can also be used with up to 3 camera inputs which can be configured however required, front facing, rear facing and load camera? You choose! This helps prevent what we see all to often on modern plant with the windows cluttered with various safety devices. As installers and suppliers of various plant safety systems we know the teleboom reeler which monitors the angle and length of boom deployed has been the Achilles heel of Tele restrictors for some time now! Our Tele-RCL system confronts this issue buy not only using a much thicker gauge cable in the reeler itself capable of standing up to tough conditions telehandlers work in but if the cable should get snagged and break, simply pull out more cable and re attached to the fork frame! Once the boom is stowed to its minimum position it will self calibrate preventing the need to stand the machine and await a repair.
