QTS is perfectly positioned to deliver reactive works across the UK rail infrastructure. During the Christmas period, our civils team in the North West & Central region was able to call upon our electrification business, REL, to assist at Four Ashes in Northampton following an overhead line failure on the RSB3. The civils team took a call from the client and were mobilised on site in two hours. REL were engaged and had their specialist engineers on site within four hours. A possession time was agreed and within two hours from taking the isolation, the engineers had worked to fix the fault and had the line reopened to allow the safe passage of trains. A great example of team working across the QTS Group, delivering fast and efficient results for the client.
