In our commitment to fostering the next generation of STEAM talent, we recently held a series of workshops at the local Davison CE High School for Girls. The sessions were developed to inspire young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM). Led by ex-Davison student and current Rolls-Royce apprentice, Fleur Macmillan, and supported by Jess Burcombe (an intern and undergraduate from the University of Chichester), the workshops were developed in collaboration with MEI and provided first-hand insights into a STEAM career pathway. Applications for our 2025 Apprenticeship programme are open until 31 March 2025. Open roles are available to view on our careers portal: https://bit.ly/41MOw7T - WLTP: Power consumption: 2.6-2.8 mi/kWh / 23.6-22.2 kWh/100km. Electric range 329 mi / 530 km. About us
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is a true luxury house, crafting the world’s most desirable Bespoke products. The Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, West Sussex, comprises both its global headquarters and manufacturing facility – the only place in the world where Rolls-Royce motor cars are designed, engineered and meticulously built by hand. Phantom leads the marque’s product portfolio, which also includes Ghost, Cullinan and the all-electric Spectre. Black Badge offers clients darker, subversive incarnations of Ghost, Cullinan and Spectre. Every motor car hand-built at the Home of Rolls-Royce includes some element of Bespoke, the company’s unique programme offering personalisation possibilities which are limited only by the client’s imagination. Bespoke finds its ultimate expression in Coachbuild, in which Rolls-Royce and the client co-create every detail of the motor car, including its physical form. In 2023, Rolls-Royce commissioned its first independent economic impact study. This revealed a total contribution to the UK economy of over £4 billion since 2003, and now over £500 million annually. More than 2,500 people work at the Home of Rolls-Royce, and the company supports a further 7,500 jobs in its wider supply chain. Every year its Future Talent programme supports over 100 Apprenticeship, Internship and Graduate Placement positions. The Home of Rolls-Royce is also home to the celebrated Rolls-Royce Apiary with its 250,000 European honeybees. And through its Wildlife Garden and collaborations with the adjoining Goodwood Estate, the company supports local wildlife and biodiversity. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is a wholly owned subsidiary of BMW Group. It is entirely separate from and unrelated to aircraft engine and propulsion systems manufacturer Rolls-Royce plc. #InspiringGreatness #BespokeIsRollsRoyce

As part of our landmark extension now under construction at the Home of Rolls-Royce, we're upholding a longstanding tradition of creating a time capsule as part of a major construction project. The capsule, which will be opened on our 150th anniversary in 2054, contains artefacts selected by representatives from each of our Future Talent programmes from across the business. Some of these items have been chosen to create a historical record, on the basis that they will be obsolete by the time the capsule is opened. Others highlight enduring craftsmanship, reflecting our timeless heritage. Unlike most time capsules, ours will initially be kept on display in our reception area at the Home of Rolls-Royce. It is hoped the intrigue and possibility of the artefacts inside will spark questions and conversations from visitors in the same way as the ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’, installed in each of our Private Offices around the world. #InspiringGreatness

Since its launch in 2009, Ghost has captured the spirit of Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood era and signaled a desire for experimentation and expression – from the ‘quiet luxury’ codes later popularised by the fashion industry, to fearless and bright celebrations of colour. Alongside this desire for increasingly complex Bespoke, many of our clients today demand a driving experience that is as potent and agile as it is composed, effortless and serene. This is a balance that Ghost Series II strikes perfectly, at no cost to either character – and without ever compromising the motor car’s standing as a superlative and powerful super-luxury product. To mark this year’s International Women’s Day, our Gender Inclusion Network (GIN) is hosting several initiatives throughout March. This week, the group ran a Confidence Masterclass with international life and communications coach Charlotte Lodey. These sessions are designed to equip colleagues with tools to build confidence and trust in their abilities, foster a fearless culture, and overcome the fear of judgment. Next week, in a podcast distributed across the business, Emma Begley, Director of Global Communications, and Verena M., General Manager, Digitalisation, will share insights on their career progression, leadership values and experience in the workplace. The GIN is one of six Network Groups at the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood. These voluntary, employee-led groups create inspiring spaces and a strong support network for individuals with shared interests and backgrounds, helping to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. With a mission to ‘engage, educate, elevate, and empower', the Gender Inclusion Network has 85 members and provides opportunities throughout the year for skills development, mentorship, and allyship for women in business. #InspiringGreatness #AccelerateAction

Earlier this year, we announced an investment of more than £300million in an extension to our global headquarters and manufacturing plant at Goodwood, West Sussex. This landmark development is progressing well, and we have now completed works on our Construction Hub. Nestled in the heart of our new site, with panoramic views of the build, this group of temporary offices is where our Site Strategy team will work with our independent contractors, effectively acting as the project’s central headquarters as we bring our plans to fruition. The extension will create additional space for increasingly complex and high-value Bespoke and Coachbuild projects. It will also ready the manufacturing facility for the marque’s transition to an all-battery electric vehicle (BEV) future. We look forward to sharing further updates as this exciting project continues to develop. #InspiringGreatness #BuildingForTheFuture

From the moment you enter Black Badge Spectre, its rebellious character is immediately apparent through the bold interior treatment – a sanctuary where the motor car’s fierce strength meets sublime craftsmanship. The unique pattern on the Illuminated Fascia, which is an abstract expression of the Spirit of Ecstasy, comprises over 5,500 'stars' of varying proportions and intensity, set in a Piano Black 'sky'. Framing this advanced craft feature is a richly complex Technical Fibre surface finish. The thread is laid by hand in a diamond pattern between layers of carbon fibre, creating a three-dimensional effect. Once cured, each interior piece is sandblasted, sealed with six layers of lacquer, and hand-polished to a flawless finish, adding striking depth and clarity. Black Badge Spectre’s darkened aesthetic denotes a more visceral Rolls-Royce driving experience. The motor car makes its global debut in a new Vapour Violet paint finish, a deep black-violet inspired by the neon ambience of 1980s and 1990s club culture. A new Illuminated Grille backplate offers clients a bold canvas for personal expression, with the possibility to create unique accent colours to complement a coachline or interior. As with all Black Badge models before it, Black Badge Spectre’s mirror-polished brightwork is presented in a signature dark finish, signalling its subversive, noire character. Black Badge Spectre is one of the clearest statements of power and purpose we have ever made. In every way, Black Badge Spectre is Rolls-Royce at its most potent and audacious – which perfectly captures the spirit of the bold individuals the motor car has been created for, and who requested it. The motor car’s landmark power output, chassis technologies, and expansive potential for Bespoke open a vivid new chapter in the highly successful stories of Black Badge.
