About us
Rondanini UK was founded in 1989 and is a leading importer of fine foods. We supply major retailers with both brand and own label foods and important restaurant chains with foodservice ingredients. Our sister company Salvo1968 offers direct delivery supply to the independent trade through an ecommerce site. We are partners with the Voltan family manufacturing fresh pasta under the Giordani brand and private label. We also export to Europe and the USA.

We are sad to announce the passing of our friend and co-founder Gianni Rondanini, who died aged 93. During the 1980’s the Rondanini family were one of Italy’s leading charcuterie producers, and Gianni understood the potential for exporting Italian food. Together with the De Vito family he co-founded Rondanini UK in 1989 and his contributions have not only shaped the way we appreciate Italian cuisine but also inspired many other Italian food business to follow his lead. Our thoughts are with Gianni’s family and his wife Dada and daughters Koko and Barbara during this difficult time. Gianni’s spirit and legacy will continue to inspire all of us at Rondanini UK and we are privileged to carry his name. Adriano
