Sorry! I didn’t hear you! It’s something I’ve had to get used to hearing, and while repeating yourself can be frustrating, it’s a reminder of the challenges many children in the UK face every day with hearing loss. In August, I set out on a mission to make a difference by supporting an incredible charity that’s close to my heart: the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) What am I even doing? I’ll be attenpting to run the TCS London Marathon in April 2025 as part of their hashtag#teamNDCS. 🏃🏻 This organisation helps children like my son, Leo, who live in a world that doesn’t always accommodate their needs. Right now, I’m looking for three businesses to collaborate with me as I raise awareness and funds for NDCS. Together, we can: 👉 Help break down barriers that hold deaf children back. 👉 Provide life-changing support for the 52,798 deaf children in the UK. 👉 Show that with the right help, deafness is not a limitation. This is personal for me—I’ll be documenting my journey as someone who couldn’t even run 1km back in August, but who is determined to push through to make a difference. Not just for my son Leo who suffers with hearing loss but for every child with this challenge, every day should be an adventure with a chance to meet new friends and explore the world.
